It was a great place to be disconnected from technology, this means no phone signal at the campsite. The weather may ruin your day but we improved an awning with garbage bags to do our bbq while raining. Other that that is a good place to go. Make sure to ask where the designated trash point is, otherwise it will be a cleaning fee for it.

VERY lovely place, totally secluded. There are pots and pans to cook with, a grill, and a charcoal grill along with a fire pit. The tent was sturdy and fit 4 adults + a large dog + a toddler and her pack-and-play. The pond is down the gravel path and a sharp left at the bulldozer. (1 min walk) I came with my 3 sisters and a dog and my toddler and we'd come back anytime!

The place was magnificent. Very private. We had an awesome time. Things I would suggest improving: 1) Cleaner kitchenware. The items that were there was left out to weather. Rust was formed on most of the pots and pans. 2). Please leave matches or a campfire lighter so we can start a fire. Unfortunately we had to go to the store to buy a lighter because we failed to remember to bring one. 3) The Lu, The tent to the lu was a bit small. Tall people would have a problem. 4) The air mattresses were terribly uncomfortable. Every time I moved the entire bed shook and creaked. Maybe you could get real mattresses. I ended up sleeping in my jeep. Which was warmer anyway. 5) The weather was frigid during the night. Maybe a better heat source would be better. I would definitely come again just in warmer weather. Thank you for your hospitality, Allison Palais

Beautiful, secluded site with plenty of cookware and utensils, including a propane and a charcoal grill. Pond and stream were almost dried up in the drought but there are swimming spots at the nearby Vernooy Kills Falls. There are two trail heads, one that's about 2 miles to the falls and the other is about a mile, and trail heads are maybe a 5 minute drive from site if that. Download area maps before you go, there is no cell service (TMobile) at the site and you have to drive maybe 10+ minutes before you get service. Only negative is the lack of receptacle for containing human waste. Most other tentrr sites I've been to provide a sealable bucket for storing waste until you can take it to a dumpster. And there were only 3 toilet bags provider and no response to our text when we requested more. Otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a great experience at this camp site. Totally secluded but not far off the road, the campfire is close to the tent and if you have a cast iron skillet you can cook anything. Very many bees so anyone with allergies be extra cautious, but we have nothing negative to say!!! We cant wait to stay here again!

I’ve stayed at 10+ Tentrr locations and this is far and away my favorite. Location is beautiful, with a picture perfect creek and a second smaller creek filling a swimmable pond, plus a trail to a gorgeous enchanted meadow of moss. Fun “decor” and campsite is chock full of all the supplies you could need, and then some. Pond is a bit tricky to find - just head east up the gravel road, then hard left at an abandoned bulldozer. Amazing weekend all around, and Pete is a fantastic warm and welcoming host.

Everything was exactly as described! Peter was great! Very quiet, peaceful. Just my dog and I. We cooked on the charcoal grill and over the fire everyday. Bathed in the creek which was deliciously cold on our super hot week!! VERY dark at night!! Bring your lanterns and flashlights!
