“Wonderful stay! Our kids loved the creek and the spot was just perfect - it felt secluded but was so easy to access. Page was a wonderful and welcoming host!!”
“I cannot express how wonderful this place is. The property managers were very easy to reach and get a hold of. The site was private, but conveniently located near local wineries. The hosts were extremely generous and expressed great hospitality, coming out of their way multiple times to make sure we were comfortable and that we had what we needed. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!!”
“Our family enjoyed our weekend at Good Intentions Farm so much! The tent setup was perfect. We were able to pack light and had our camp all set up within minutes of arriving. The tent is right next to a lovely creek that our boys and dog played in all weekend and it provided great background sound for sleeping. We hiked around the property and made friends with some gorgeous Clydesdales. It got really cold at night, but the wood stove kept us warm. We just had to add a log to it every few hours and it burned all night and kept the inside of the tent nice and toasty. None of us has experience with horse riding but Becky brought out a really sweet and gentle Clydesdale and gave us some riding lessons. Even our 4 year old was riding her and loving it! This was a perfect relaxing getaway from the our usual busy lives and we left there totally refreshed. We're already talking about another visit!”
“First off, this site and the hosts are just wonderful. They were very responsive to our questions and assisting us with a few last minute needs. We LOVED meeting their Clydesdale horses (breathtaking!) and the property was just beautiful. We even spotted a fox on a short hike around the property! I would love to return to this property again in the future!! I give this site and its hosts an A+.
I rated this "okay" because of the Tentrr tent experience. I have never stayed in a platform tent before. The tent has large open gaps in the bottom corners of the tent, and floor perimeter of the tent is not sealed, so insects and spiders can AND DO easily enter the tent. I have camped many times and am not squeamish about nature - I understand there are bugs, but unfortunately it was a weird time of year where there were REALLY A LOT of insects that wanted to be inside the tent, the worst of which included a few very large spiders. Beautiful outside the tent, very creepy inside the tent. Yes, you can remove them, but they kept coming back. The site owners were VERY helpful in doing what they could to help us remedy this whole situation, but it's still unsettling when it's time to go to sleep. So unless Tentrr can figure out how to fully seal the tents, in the future I will take the time to set up my own tent, which I know is bug proof.”
“This was my first Tentrr experience and it could not have been more enjoyable! Page is a super CampKeeper — easy to communicate with while respecting camper’s privacy. The property was lovely and it was a joy to be near the Clydesdale horses! Highly recommend the trail ride if available (extra fee). 5 stars, plan to return.”
“Awesome time! Lovely host! Everything you need is at your fingertips. Took my two young boys who had a blast and I didn’t have to feel overwhelmed. :) Go!”
