“It was awesome here! My little Yaris made it out there fine, but definitely needed to be careful. A little confusing to get to as well, but I came across an older gentleman on a tractor that directed me to the site. It was extremely peaceful and my dog enjoyed the open space. Everything I was hoping for!”
“Ben is such a nice host. This is a beautiful site. It was the perfect retreat for us. It was also the perfect place to view the meteor shower on Tuesday night. I can remember in my life when I have see so many stars. It was breath taking. We hope to be able to stay a couple more times before winter.”
“Excellent remote spot yet great off road access. Ben was a great host, easily accessible by text. Great views, tons of dragon flies, hence no mosquitoes. Spectacular sunsets and stargazing. Bring your own shade (pop-up will be helpful as there are no trees to hang a tarp over the table). Abundance of firewood and plenty of water provided. Very relaxing and peaceful place. Thanks Ben for sharing your land.”
“This was my first Tentrr experience and it was wonderful! This breezy hilltop site is absolutely beautiful. I loved that it offered all the convenience of car camping but with the privacy and quiet of a back country campsite. It was great to be able to step out of the tent and go hiking right there on the property. There are also lots of also hiking trails and lakes nearby. I will definitely be back!”
“I don't know who loved it more - me or the kids! So easy to camp but without the headache of setting everything up, and we didn't have a campground full of other people, so we could really just enjoy nature and each other's company! Looked exactly like the pictures and we had everything we needed, plus the star gazing was breathtaking.”
“My family had a great time at Ben's campsite. It's a special place, peaceful and beautiful. Great views of the meadow and mountains beyond. The night skies were exceptionally dark, great for star-gazing. I would recommend arriving during the daylight as your first drive drive on the grass path would be intimidating in the dark, especially if it's been raining. Ben was friendly and told us about the history of the Old Place. He had the site stocked with the water and firewood we needed. My only suggestion would be a permanent stand, or mark a tree for the camp shower... we had a tough time finding a suitable branch to mount it. Ask Ben how to hike to down to the brook. Thanks Ben!”
“Best Vacation in a very long time. Benjamin was great host. This was a little slice of heaven. My favorite part sitting on the deck at night watching the fireflies in the field below it was beautiful.”
