“The Lodge Campsite was my first Tentrr experience and Catherine and her husband (the campsite owners) truly set the bar high! Catherine warmly welcomed my boyfriend and I upon arrival and helped us carry all of our belongings up to the campsite with her ATV which was a huge help! She was also very responsive over text and answered any questions we had.
The campsite itself is well maintained and far from any main roads, making it a good choice if you want some peace and quiet during your stay! (That being said, there are general stores not too far a drive from the site just in case you forgot s'mores supplies)
The site's outdoor hot shower was also such a luxury! Being able to rinse off after a sweaty afternoon hike while standing in the middle of a forest was amazing. Honestly, I would recommend this Tentrr site for the shower alone!
But in all seriousness, Catherine (the host) was incredibly kind, and the campsite itself was very nice - so I would highly recommend a stay.”
“What a special place. Secluded from the outside world yet extremely close to the beautiful and lively towns of the Berkshires. Catherine and Monk could not have been more gracious or attentive hosts. I hope to be back many times over. Thank you for a 10/10 experience!”
“My friends and I had a great time at The Lodge's Campsite. Catherine is super helpful! She waited for us to arrive in the evening and helped us to bring our luggages to the campsite. the tiny trail to the campsite was uphill, so it really helps.
The campsite is well equipped. Toilet paper, napkins, utensils, cooking pots...etc. You basically only need to bring clothes and food thats it!
My favorite feature of this campsite is the outdoor hot shower. Nothing is better than woke up in the morning and take a hot shower in the forest :) Love it.
Everything is great. The Place is really hidden in the forest. very private. Only sometime you will hear the sound of trains from far. But it's not too loud that you won't be able to sleep!”
“This was my first Tentrr experience and first camping experience ever for the 7 and 5 year old kids. Tentrr worked with us after our previously booked site was canceled super last minute. Cathy was informed of the situation and was super communicative and friendly to make sure we had all we needed given the situation. She helped us get to our site upon our arrival which was really helpful. Last minute I decided to add on breakfast for the following morning and it was completely worth it! I took the scrambled eggs and stuffed them in the fresh bread with the butter and the kids loved it. The coffee was also very good and plentiful. It decided to pour buckets on night two, but we remained safe a dry (minus the July humidity :-) Thanks again Cathy for a great experience!”
“Amazing, comfy campsite. We loved the wood stove and the heated shower was fabulous! Cathy was a kind, accommodating super-responsive host, the tent and campsite were very well stocked with comforts, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!”
