“The campsite was as described. What was lacking and very confusing was the description in the airbnb posting. It was indicated that an extra 5 person dome tent was provided. It wasn't clear if extra guests could use this tent. The price of firewood was not indicated ($25 USD) and extra guests as per Tentrr's policy ($20 USD). This airbnb posting is contracted out to a third party. We did not receive the messages by the hosts on check-in, only the automated posts from Tentrr. At 7 am, we were woken up by the hosts who live nearby confirming if we were there. It was very unpleasant and disruptive to our experience. They indicated that Tentrr was going bankrupt and that we had to pay them cash for the firewood and 2 extra people. We wanted to go through the airbnb app and showed them how to request money but they insisted that we pay them cash or else they would consider it a hostile act. None of us had cash, so we had to take time to get it. They also asked $25 USD/person instead of $20”
“Lucy’s property is beautiful!! The views are even better in person, both the night sky and the mountains ! It was so peaceful, private and everything was well taken care of.
She was really helpful going through everything and was very accommodating ! We felt right at home !”
“I had a great time at Lucy's Christmas tree farm and highly recommend! This was a stop en route to a conference in Boston, so I didn't stay for long, but did get to enjoy the mowed trails around the property. I found the bed surprisingly comfortable! My dog especially loved being able to roam round, go for a dip in the pond and chew on some sticks. He had a great time. Would definitely recommend.”
“A must book trip. Gorgeous property, with tons of space to explore & unbelievable views! Plenty of space for our dog to run around and enjoy the outdoors. Lucy & John were great, and so welcoming! They checked in and made sure we settled in. The pond is amazing, and very clean. The view on top of the hill is breathtaking, with hammocks to enjoy and take it all in. It’s close to tons of touristy attractions, but far away enough to just be in nature. We will definitely be back!!”
