Alec was amazing and responsive leading up to it as I had a number of questions about transportation and things to do in the area etc.
The location is idyllic - a large area - a bit less than a football field - surrounded by nature on three sides and the river on the fourth side. The walk to it with your gear in a wheel barrow is just enough to give you the sense that you are being transported into a new mindset, without being rigorous.
It is wonderful that it is enclosed by the trees and brush - my daughter and dog could freely run around within eyesight while I cooked etc. They both loved walking in the river. I could envision being here with a larger family/group. It was open yet private and manageable.
The surrounding area is also wonderful - amazing hikes, antique stores, famers markets.

“Fantastic site, very private and amazing space. As an avid primative camper it was a great experience to have more elevated accomodations with the tent and bunk beds. Will definitely be coming back!”
“Beautiful spot. Host not very available which is great if you seek privacy. Cooler with ice supplied is small so better to bring your own cooler for foods.
Tent is old and I think the host expects guests to do all cleaning including the toilet.
We had a nice family stay and enjoyed the quiet.”
“Good campsite, the creek is very nice. Campsite is big, spacious, and shady. So many fireflies at night. I've never seen so many crayfish. Lots of bird life.
Recommended you pack light as there is a steep hill involved.”
“Thank you to Alec for hosting us at this beautiful camp site. As our first Tentrr experience I don’t think we could have done better. We were delighted by the privacy and size of the site and we immediately threw our floaties into our private stream to cool off. Alec and his son were on hand to provide everything we needed. Took an short but lovely hike to Dover Stone Church trail to see the cavern. Thank you so much for a great, relaxing few days. We’ll be back again to discover more of this beautiful area.”
