“Wow - where to begin! Alec was literally the best host ever. He is super accommodating and willing to work with your group in any way possible. He was great at communicating as well as just very hospitable. His campsite is one of the best - the creek next to it was very relaxing to hear throughout our stay and it would be awesome to use in the summer. We camped out in Feb which was obviously a bit chilly but we can't wait to come back again when it is warm and we can use the creek more! Also, I have stayed on some Tentrr sites that are not kept up as far as cleanliness but Alecs Tentrr was very clean and well kept. You can tell he really cares about his property and the people staying on it. I wish I could give him more stars. Also, I definitely recommend adding the cookies as an extra - BEST COOKIES EVER.”
“Alec and his family are indeed super hosts!! We got in late on Friday due to city traffic, and they were waiting to assist us to the tent, and had our campfire and lamps biting for us. We enjoyed the spot, did some wonderful early-autumn wading in the stream, and thoroughly enjoyed a winery and nearby town fair during our visit. The accommodations, location and hospitality were just lovely. I recommend the chocolate chip option. WARNING: We almost didn’t have room for the ‘smores!!!”

“This is a beautiful and secluded spot! Alec was great and responded quickly. The creek is perfect and I would definitely recommend bringing a float during the summer months as it's a few feet deep (it when above my knees - I'm 5'2"). Be careful about poison ivy though! I went to setup my portable hammock around two trees and got a rash around my ankles. Overall, great experience!”
“We didn’t want to leave! This site is super roomy with plenty of room for games, hammocks, sun bathing etc. After a day of hiking around local spots we cooled off with a dip in the creek, we ended our night with some home made cookies from our lovely host & his family (they’re a must have).”
“This was our first Tentrr experience, and its a great introduction. The pictures don't do the site justice - the creek is so beautiful and big, we loved it! Alec is an incredible host - a perfect mix of helpful and hands-off. He made great recommendations and even started a fire for us one night so we'd have it easy when we came home after dark. Very communicative over text, but we definitely felt left-alone in the best possible way. There's honestly nothing my boyfriend or I would change about this experience, do not hesitate to book this site!
TIPS:
- Do NOT skip the cookies add-on for this site. They are absolutely delicious and definitely made with love by Alec's daughter.
- Millbrook Winery was really beautiful and fun (Friday evening - the food trucks are awesome)
- Quattro Farm Store (and gun shop??) sells the best homemade bacon burgers (freezer section), so good cooked over the campfire!
- Big Rock Community Farms Market (a little overpriced, but great veggies)”
