“I chose this site because of the great reviews it and the hosts got. They weren't wrong. The campsite was wonderful and Ginny and Zeke were really nice. They had left us a list of places to go in Callicoon as well as pamphlets on things to do in the surrounding area. We chose to hike the Bouchoux trail. It had scenic views, interesting blue stone formations and a waterfall. We enjoyed floating around the pond, seeing and hearing the frogs, and the newts in the pond were an unexpected surprise. We had visits from deer and a little yellow finch. We have fireflies in the summer, but the light show the fireflies put on was incredible they were everywhere. When we went to bed we could even see some that were on the outside of the tent, like mini night lights. It's an awesome place to relax and unwind. They had the cupboard stocked with pots and pans, plates, utensils and other items you might forget to pack. They also had jugs with water ready for us and a hose nearby if we needed more water. They even provided extra blankets and pillows with clean cases on them. The outhouse with wash up sink was a thoughtful addition. They are very gracious hosts and have thought about how they can make your experience better. We enjoyed it so much we are already planning a second trip. If you want to get away, unplug and enjoy nature this is the place to do it!”
“This place is amazing! My girlfriend and I had an incredible weekend of fun and relaxation on this beautiful property. The site is very quiet, scenic, and peaceful. The host was very accommodating yet not intrusive at all. They left firewood for us, and then left extra for us when she thought we might need some more. They also provided a kayak for use on the pond. The site was perfectly clean and well maintained. We could not have been happier with our stay, and would absolutely recommend this site!”
“Such lovely hosts and a very special gorgeous campsite by the little pond. We had a really good time staying here on a chilly autumn night, watched the moon rise above the tree tops and stayed warm and cozy by the fire. Looking forward to be back at Frog Pond sometime!”
“Ginny is s a great host and the site offers an abundance of amentities. The location on Frog Pond is perfect. It's a peaceful location where we were able to see a couple deer on our short one night stay. We were pleasantly surprised with the care that was taken to set up the site to make it a comfortable and relaxing stay. A short drive in town led us to quaint vintage shops and even a distillery. This was our first Tentrr experience and will now definitely not be our last!”
