The tent was great, and the spot by the river was beautiful. We made use of the provided kayaks and had a nice time fishing and swimming. My only (minor) complaint was that the kitchenette area is completely uncovered, and is thusly open to the elements. All the provided dishes and cooking utensils were covered in pine needles and pollen, which we had not adequately prepared for. and had to go buy supplies to give them a good scrub, which was not a big deal as there are shops within a few minute drive. Our host did mention that they had to move the site up to higher ground, so it's possible this is just a temporary issue with the new site. Otherwise, the location was gorgeous and peaceful!

Loved our visit. Lovely site right on the Saco river. Only downside was being able to hear some distant road noise.

Truly enjoyed our time here. Host was friendly and very accommodating. Loved seeing the goats! Pleasantly surprised we were so close to the river.

Spent a weekend at the farm. It was so beautiful & peaceful. The bed in the tent was so comfortable! Private beach access with kayaks included. If you are looking to get away & off the grid, this is the perfect place to stay. Such a beautiful setting. Tammy is so nice! She let us enjoy some time with her new baby goats. I highly recommend Riverside Lavender Farm for a relaxing stay.

We loved our weekend here! Host was very pleasant and showed us around our area. As the listing notes there is a little walk down a hill from the car to the tent. No big deal for us. Tent and accompanying area for the picnic table, fire ring, etc. was quite spacious and private - and right along the river. They provided drinking water and firewood (pretty amazing) and there was more than enough. The fire ring, a cooking grate, assorted pots & pans and dishes were provided. The listing noted to bring your own charcoal. We did and put it in the fire ring and easily cooked dinners. We also brought our own propane burner and cooked breakfast in a pan on that. Based on a comment in another review we brought Tikki fluid. Filled them all up and enjoyed them all weekend. Sheets and blankets were provided. The potty situation was easy: privacy tent and seat, fill up a bag and then toss it in the provided trash can. Easy peasy. They provide a pail to draw water from the river along with battery powered shower head. Plan was to set the bucket in the sun for the day to warm and shower at night. Unfortunately, the bucket leaked water so we came home to empty. (Host, sorry we didn't let you know when we left.) We had brought along our sun shower, filled from the river and simply used that. We took advantage of the kayaks they provided one afternoon (be aware 200lb limit as they are light duty). We brought hammocks and had many trees to select from. It was so peaceful listening to the river. Shortly after arrival, we received an email with area recommendations including some hikes. We did one and it was the ideal length and not far away. Really all you need is provided. Because we camp we have a bunch of gear. Things we brought that were nice touches for us: propane burner for additional cooking option, lighter, towels, extra toilet paper, hammocks, Tikki fluid, our own pan, sun shower, and portable fan. The lavender was in bloom. It was fun to see the various ways they leveraged their farm. Saw a group making lavender wreaths, they hosted live music in the field one night (could just lightly hear the music in the background from the tent - just right), and little princesses were having a tea party the morning we left. Well done. Highly recommend!

A fabulous stay for my husband, dog Max and myself to get away from our busy time at home! So relaxing, smelling the lavendar, hiking from the spot, grilling out in the evenings! Very comfortable bed and all that we needed while there and beyond!! Wonderful spot! Look forward to returning!

My husband and I really enjoyed a weekend along the banks of the Saco River at this well-appointed site. The welcoming hosts offered extra bedding when the weather was unexpectedly cool, and brief visits from wagging tails added to the charm. An easy paddle or some R&R next to the fire along with a local hike made this location a perfect getaway. Accessible from Southern Maine and mostly away from the hustle and bustle of populated areas. Would definitely visit again!

We loved our trip to Riverside Lavender Farm. The campsite is so private, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. It was also nice to show up and have pretty much everything you need to "rough it" without the hassle of packing to do so. There is a charcoal grill and everything you need to cook over the fire. We would suggest bringing a little propane stove if you are not used to cooking on a fire. Linens and pillows were provided which was awesome! The firewood was plentiful. The host Tammy was great, she greeted us when we first got there showed us around and left us alone. She was only a text away/walk up the hill if we needed anything. If you are looking for the rustic camping experience without having to lug everything with you, we would highly recommend this Tentrr site!
