Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“We had a great time during our stay. The location was very private and peaceful. The host thought of everything and made suggestions for the area.
I recommend hanging out at the pub your first night and getting to know a little about your host. It's a exciting and interesting experience that you won't get anywhere else!”
“We loved our stay on the grounds of the Beerocracy Pub just north of Watkins Glen. Our private camping space was the perfect spot to unplug and decompress, but the Beerocracy Pub was just minutes away on the grounds and we could go there to hang out and connect with others in a relaxing and welcoming environment. It was the perfect combination!”
“Lets start by saying that the location is amazing! Also, I received an email the day before saying that because of the rain, they upgraded my stay so I didn't have to lug my stuff down a muddy hill. So thoughtful! The upgrade was equipped with a propane heater and propane shower. Bradley and his staff were very friendly, they invited me to the brewery's karaoke night and even offered me delicious whisky samples. I cant wait to come back!”
“First off, the host at this site (and owner of the brewery) was really accommodating and helpful. He helped us get from the campsite back to our car in the rain and was very responsive.
The good:
- The brewery on site is very quaint with friendly service and people.
- live music at the brewery
- driving distance from so many wineries, breweries, hiking trails, grocery stores and restaurants
The bad:
- overpriced for what it is - essentially full on camping, not glamping
- cleanliness of the tent was lacking. Bugs everywhere in the tent and the facilities haven't been updated in a long time (dirty cooler with brown water, toilet stall with bird poop all over)
- cooking tools need to be brought on your own as supplies seem to be missing from the tent
- if you're there on a colder night, you need to plan ahead to buy 8 hour burning logs for the furnace in the tent or else you'll be up all night putting new logs in and freezing in the tent
- you cannot drive to the site in a regular sedan, so we had to trek stuff to and from the brewery parking lot, about a 10-15 minute walk with hills, ditches, mud, etc.
We enjoyed the finger lakes, and this site might be better for someone who loves to camp! Just be prepared in advance.”
