“This was an awesome place to stay! We were looking for somewhere to star gaze on the new moon weekend and Lynn and Dick’s Darnit site was absolutely perfect. Everything is as described in the listing except once we got there, it was even better than could have been expected. Lynn was an awesome host and made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us some good tips on hikes in the area. We did a few short hikes but ended up spending most of our time right on the farm. There is a ton of land with so many cool things to check out, we had a great time walking around in the beautiful fall weather. Cute cows, old buses, beautiful farmland, and great food. The site was very private and we didn’t see another human the whole time we were there.
It had rained hard prior to our arrival so the drive from the entry to the site was wet in spots. we were able to navigate the mud but if you have extra low clearance or treasure your vehicle, keep this in mind. Also, if you go in cooler weather, throw the solar shower in the sun asap to make sure you get a warmer than cold chance to rinse off.
This was our first Tentrr experience and we will definitely be doing more. A great way to extend the camping season with a little extra comfort.”
“We stayed at Darnit Brook campsite this past weekend and it was spectacular! This site was all fenced in so our dog got to explore without disturbing the cattle, which are grazing the pasture steps from you. The hosts are incredible, respond quickly and even walk you through the whole site and make sure you are comfortable before leaving you to escape reality on their land. This is definitely a camp I will be coming back to, the land the cattle, the stars and the peace and quiet is everything you could ask for, especially if you want to get away.”
“Awesome campsite!! The site was extremely clean and well stocked with all of your camping necessities, making travel lighter and setup simple. The host was so pleasant, helpful and easy to get in touch with if need be. I loved the privacy of the location and being able to wake up to the cows in the field. This is a wonderful little getaway spot and have been raving about it to my family and friends. I look forward to staying at the Piper Ranch again and visiting their other locations!!!”

“This tentrr site is an absolute joy, it felt like we were almost in a tree house how it is up a hill set among trees. The cattle were very entertaining and so was the walk around the farm. The amenities on this tentrr site were fabulous so it made it easy!”
“This site is just lovely. It was the perfect respite for a solo relaxation trip. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The site is isolated just enough and is set up well. I was visited by woodpeckers, nuthatches, chipmunks, butterflies, and a woodchuck. I also heard owls hooting in the woods at night. I'd love to stay here again, or perhaps at their other site by the river. Thank you for a lovely first Tentrr experience!”
“A great stay on this hot weekend! We really enjoyed sitting by the brook and hanging with our dogs in such a pretty green sanctuary. Easy check in. Piper was very friendly and prompt in getting me to my tent.”
