“Such an amazing view from this campsite. We loved being able to look right out over the water from the tent. The camp keeper was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.”
“A little slice of heaven is what you will find here. Everyone is so kind, friendly, and accomadating. The small town of Pulaski holds its own charms for exploring. The host is available for any questions or assistance. We happened to stay at a period of time where it was very damp, and our host provided us with a firestarter out of the kindness of his heart. This is truly a place to unwind and find peace.
Kayaking is so much fun and the resevoir is home to a bald eagle, which was a truly special gift to experience.
We had a wonderful trip and look forward to our next vistit.”
“This place is great! So much privacy and beautiful views. If you enjoy primative camping, this is the place is for you! So much more than I expected and absolutely gorgeous view from site. Will definately be booking again!”
“I loved this stay (but keep reading). Truly an enjoyable location & experience. After a few days tent-living in National Parks, I was looking forward to no setup/breakdown. The Tentrr is really amazing – it was late June, warm and sunny, so enjoyable without the need of a heater. Just sheets and a light blanket. The view was spectacular – the pictures don’t do it justice, honestly. The hosts are behind the tent (up a hill and the RV park behind that) and were quiet and more than pleasant. We were 10-ish feet from the lake’s edge, and took a few opportunities to swim. Pretty much you’re left alone, and the quiet time lets you enjoy the stars and the sound of nature. As others have stated, we didn’t have the portable toilet or shower, the bathhouse was 15-20 minutes away, and because of a power-outage, they were closed. So, we had no access to a toilet or shower (we only stayed one night); ironic because the portable toilet and shower in the listing would have been perfect in this situation. I would stay here again, but for the price listed, the listing should be accurate.”
“We thought the view was outstanding and we took our canoe and canoed on the water some and our dogs thought they were in heaven and they swam after sticks and had a blast and I was totally satisfied with the condition of the tent and the deck and the chairs and the picnic table although one of the benches it was a little wobbly and we let someone know about that. This was our first time using a tentrr site and we loved it and can’t wait to go back!!!”
“Location of tent was phenomenal!
Cleanliness of tent wasn’t the greatest. Would have liked to have seen some additional amenities for the price.
Bed was very comfortable!”
“He had a great stay at the Gatewood Reservoir Tentrr site. It is like a little slice of heaven on a beautiful lake. It is definitely glamping when compared to a tent on the ground, but if you are expecting a hotel (we weren't) this would not be the place for you! We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake, cooking our meals over the fire, and the hiking just a short drive away. We did not rent the kayaks or paddle boards, but if we stayed longer, we probably would have! Would definitely return if the opportunity presents itself.”
“The location of this tent was great, it was secluded and we had our own little strip of lake shore to ourselves. (which was nice with a dog and a my son) The campground hosts where also great, they pulled up when I got there and checked in with us another time during our stay. They where attentive, available and nice. I do have a complaint regarding the items that are advertised. There is not a water carrier, sun shower or potty of any kind at this site, even though those things are listed as available and there are even pictures of them. When I asked the campground hosts about it they said management decided those are items where not needed because the campground bath/shower house was so close. Yes, they had a bath and shower house at the campground but you had to walk down to them. This would not have been an issue if I had know about it when I looked into booking this site. When I found out those things weren't there I was tempted to not even unpack and leave. It is not ok to show say you have those items and even show pictures then decide to not have them. For the amount of money I paid for two nights at this tent site and for it to NOT have items that I thought I was paying for is a big problem for me. I would not have been as willing to pay over $200 if I had know. So yes, the site is great, the tent is great, the lake is awesome, the host where super but your advertising is not true and your price is a touch high without those items. (in my personal opinion) I am giving it one star based on this wrong adverting but if it wasn't for that I would give it 5.”
