“Absolutely beautiful. This tent is located at the Gatewood Park water reservoir. No motorized boats except for the park rangers are permitted on the lake. It’s solely for paddle boards, kayaks, electric motors. There’s even a roped off beach area for campers to swim in. Our dogs, especially the lab, were in heaven.
The description for firewood/paddle board/kayak delivery was different than what we experienced, but it wasn’t an issue for us. There are actual bathrooms and showers for you to use. When you pull in, there’s an office shack at the end of the campground where you can buy firewood, bags of ice, and even souvenirs!
The tent was awesome, located in a secluded part of the campground with only one neighbor nearby. Had an actual mattress, no air bed. Included one lantern and a heater if you get cold. It was perfect. Highly recommend, hopefully we can come back.”
