“We camped for one night with our toddlers and small dog; it was their first time camping.
The site was large, clean, and well laid out. It was a secluded spot a short distance down the 'Trail to the Beach'. Because the trail narrows we had to park a short distance from our site (~1 campsite away); but the car was visible through the trees and close enough for the key fob to work.
Another plus: unlike other reviews have stated, we found a foam mattress on the queen bed.
The State Park staff were very helpful and had ice and firewood for sale at the entrance to the park.
We absolutely plan to use Tentrr again”
“The site was fantastic. All of my questions before the trip were answered quickly. Staff at the park are fantastic! I'm only giving it 4 stars as the air mattress deflated the second night. My boyfriend went and slept in the car.”
“Webb Lake is very nice. the water is clean and cool. The campground was nice overall. The port-o-johns weren't the best, weren't the worst either. The showers were okay with room temp water. Accessing the tent was awkward as you have to drive down the beach access path about 20yds to find your allocated parking spot. It's a tight fit getting down. We did fine in our minivan, but I wouldn't want to try it in a full size truck. Then you've got about a 200' walk with gear to get to your tent. Not a deal breaker, but not ideal when you are car camping. The site was okay, had a decent outdoor table with a little kitchen space. The fire pit wasn't nearly as nice as the pits on all of the other sites, which were built of stone. The canvas tent itself did a good job of keeping the torrential rain off of us. The provided air mattresses were undersized for the bunk beds and the bottom one lost a fair amount of air during the first night with just two young kids sleeping on it.”
“We loved how secluded this campsite was within the state campground. About 0.4mi walk to the lake beach - nice clean path.
Site details: clean campsite with picnic table and dry box. Fire pit with cooking grill. Waterproof tent with bunk bed and blow up mattresses. We were skeptical of the blow up mattress but they were pretty comfortable. Plenty of space within the tent for storage of bags. We also had a small cot for a toddler and a medium sized dog crate that fit easily within the tent. My only complaint would be the upper bunk having no safety railing at all on any sides. With an air mattress and an 11 year old that makes me nervous but we didn’t have any issues. However I feel like that would be a pretty simple upgrade to make and would ensure safety of anyone sleeping up on the top.”
