“Great spot close to the lake trail. Tent was plenty of room for us. Nice chairs for lounging, a picnic table and a fire pit. All in all a lovely stay.”
“The site was perfectly located - far enough from the bustle and noise of the other campsites, but near enough to the beach trails and toilets. Amazing state park access with tons of hikes, a Nature Center and near many wonderful small towns. One note - there is little to no cellular reception (Verizon, at least) in the entire park or surrounding areas, so know your routes and be prepared to really disconnect.”
“We had such a lovely experience at Mount Blue State Park. As per previous reviews, we were a little worried about the bed and the noise that kept other campers awake. They may have changed the bed, but we slept great. The air mattress was super comfy! Site is just far enough from the main camp sites that it feel private, short walk from the lake/beach and nature trails. Rangers provided an in depth hiking map and answered all of our questions. The camp site is a short drive from Tumble Down mountain, definitely get this hike in while you are here! It rained for us all day Saturday, so we took a drive into a nearby town and had ice cream and lunch at a local bakery. A heads up, you can't pull your car directly into the site, so you will need to plan on carrying whatever gear you have for a short 1 minute walk up the drive. highly recommend Mount Blue State Park, we will definitly be back next year!”
“TentRR Loo would have been nice as well as cooking set up. Positive: the TentRR site was the closest and most reclusive site at Mount Blue. The park had already taken care of plywood for squeaky air mattress. We loved our stay.”
