“So firstly, this review is overdue. It was written once and seemed to have been saved, however apparently it was not saved by the system. So It is a very nice site. It has a well cleared/maintained area around the tent, on property. There is a small wooded area for a little hiking, on property. We did hear some machinery near by, at times and occasional gunfire, from way across the way, in the deeper woods of the area. Whether it was hunters or range shooting.
The night view is excellent. Maria&David were extremely hospitable, well humored and quite chill. Being able to get the breakfast was most excellent, it really made the trip for my Lady, who was recovering from a serious knee injury, allowing her to take the time needed in the morning, to "rise and shine". All in all, there is an appreciable amount of "Solitude" to be found here.”
“We had a wonderful stay. The property is a big open field with plenty of space between you and the main house. The campsite faces a view of the mountains and trails that go into the woods.
Our hosts were super friendly and took great care to make sure were all set and had everything we needed.
Nothing but good things to say.”
“As a first Tentrr experience this was, I would dare say, an exceptional one.
The area on Maria&David's property is very well kept up.
It is situated in a wonderful position for night sky viewing/stargazing.
There is a nice wooded area on property, as well, With some short but enjoyable hiking trails winding through it.
I went with my fiance, who is still recovering from a knee injury and they were were compassionately, accommodating.
There is "Solitude" to be found here. Most appreciably so.
Though the main house is not too far off and there was some noise, from some machinery, at times, as well as the occasional gun fire.
There were a small plethora of little, personal touches that definitely reflected their big hearts and warm spirits.
We even received a visit from their adorable and friendly puppy, Bosley.
The breakfast they provided was truly remarkable! It was more than we anticipated and showed just how much they cared about us having the best experience possible at Solitude.
I would highly recommend the stay, as well as the breakfast!!”
“My boyfriend and I loved our trip to solitude. This was our first time in a tent and Maria and David were so nice and welcoming. We loved the games they left us like mancala and questions games. We hiked their trail in our snowshoes, it was so fun! We also lit a fire and roasted marshmallows and they provided us everything that we needed. It’s just as good in the winter as it would be in the summer, the heater will keep you warm trust me! We can’t wait to come back, Maria and David are two of the nicest people we have met!”
