“Great stay, super peaceful and beautiful. It was a fall camp trip and the heater was a very nice add. The hot tub wasn’t hot but Jay was very helpful and by the next night it was much warmer. Will definitely book again.”
“Jay has done an amazing job setting up this camp on his property. This is glamping at its finest, Jay has thought of just about everything. Actually, a few of the photos could use updating since he has made improvements since they were taken. The tentrr style picnic table is now on a deck with a screen tent, there is an outdoor sink, an actual wooden door on the loo instead of the pictured curtain & a propane water heater for the shower. Having a hot tub in the woods was amazing. Even though this site is on his property, it still felt private & we did not see people all weekend.

“Absolutely wonderful time! The camp has everything you need plus water and power. Take a stroll down the Deer Run trail to explore the old quarry sites and see the wildlife. The shower is fantastic! Good food is only minutes away, we got Paninis from Blue Mountain Bistro to-go, they were great. Don't forget to say hello to Tilly, such a beautiful dog.”
“Very clear directions and peaceful site! The bed and linens were perfectly suited for the tent, fire pit with starters was great and the kitchen had all the necessary supplies! We loved the outdoor shower as well. Unfortunately the jets were not working on the hot tub, though jay did try to get them working—probably needs a new pump. While it was disappointing to not have that feature as it was a main selling point, the site overall was very peaceful and otherwise as described. Very easy to get to great trails, the lake and restaurants as well.”
“The site was clean and the host gave clear instructions! There were other visible buildings/home nearby, so not completely private but still was in a quiet woodsy area. The hot tub was the greatest feature!”
“We really enjoyed our stay at Stonecutters Lodge. We brought the two young kids and two dogs. The tent had a nice firm mattress for us and we brought our own twin blow-up for our younger children. It fit right inside our tent, which i was a little worried about, but our host Jay called a couple days before and confirmed it would. When he called, he gave us info on the local reservoir for fishing, like having our fishing license and reservoir access. He sent us links for the online site and made the process very easy.
I did get the site specifically for the hot tub, and unfortunately it wasn't getting very hot & we thought it may be an issue w one of the dials being off maybe from one of the last guests? He did mention it when he came to meet us. There was a hot shower and a toilet so A+ and it is buggy but he did provide tiki torches & foggers for our use. The "kitchen" had everything you need besides food. The host really has thought of it all. Just bring yourself, food & bug spray!”
