“everything was set up and ready for us! we needed to spend some time in nature but this site also provided a hot shower, a hot tub and a very comfortable bed inside the tent! it is a well thought out set up and we only wish we could have stayed longer! the hike through the woods is beautiful.”

“This camp was so amazing! The camp keeper and his family were great and totally accommodating! The site had everything we needed from silverware to pots and pans two extra propane. The Camp Keeper kept in total contact with us the whole time and made sure if there was anything we needed he was there to help! Oh and the hot tub was AMAZING! I would highly recommend the site and I will definitely be going back!”

“Loved staying at Jay's campsite. He was super responsive and showed us everything we needed to know about the camp. The tent and the bed were great. The kitchen tent was also very nice. Incredible fire pits. And the hot tub was such a great bonus. Didn't get a chance to use the shower since it was pretty cold, but it looks great too. Super close to hiking spots and grocery stores if you need it. Honestly definitely a place we'd come back to again!”
“I came here with my parents, both of whom are in their mid-60s, and the site was absolutely perfect - easily accessible with every amenity you could possibly imagine. Jay was a phenomenal host, so accommodating and easy to contact if we had any questions. His Tentrr tent was hotel-level comfortable, and I stayed in the extra pop-up tent - both stayed bone dry through a heavy rainstorm! It's a perfect spot for campers who don't want to be completely "off-the-grid" - there's cell service and electricity, for instance. It's also very close to Woodstock, Phoenicia, and other local attractions. We went fishing in the Ashokan Reservoir, less than 10 mins away from camp, and it was beyond gorgeous. Can't wait to come back - thank you, Jay!”
“Excellent, excellent experience staying at this VERY well-kept campsite last weekend! Jay was incredibly thoughtful and attentive and we felt like he tailor-made the experience for us based on my email with him. He brought us sticks for roasting marshmallows which was a very nice touch, and even mailed back something we forgot in the tent on he last day. The campsite itself was immaculately maintained, super spacious - 1 big picnic table, 2 fire pits, a hammock, and an incredibly well-set up bathroom situation! We also appreciated the electricity in the tent! The surrounding area was also great - Onteora Lake was a 5min drive with picture perfect canoeing, fishing, and hiking. You will not be disappointed with a stay at this campsite! We will be back next year!”
