“not going to lie i was a little hesitant at first and this was actually our second choice but seriously… BOOK. so beautiful, pictures really don’t do justice. you are in a state park right along the water completely isolated, it’s not the packed camping area people assume it’s secluded wit beautiful views of the harbor and mountains”
“The address listed is incorrect, it was difficult to find. When we reached out to the host, we got no response even days after we left to say they at least got our messages. It’s a bit overpriced for what it is.”
“The tent was filled with water - someone had thrown a smaller tarp down inside to reduce the extensive bugs, flies, mosquitos and spiders coming through the open slat floor, but the tent must leak, because it was a wide pool covering all useable floor. The interior walls and ceiling were very thickly swarming with earwigs when we arrived, there was no seal to any tent floor to keep them out. They fell on us like rain when the tent shifted and were too many to try and remove. We chose to use our emergency backpacking tent from the trunk and pitch as far as possible away until we could leave. Tentrr was very difficult to communicate with, no check in info or times for access were provided, and all of my emails about when to arrive received an auto response to phone the public park instead of Tentrr for the first five inquires, which was naturally closed, even if we had not been travelling through no phone data part of Maine to arrive. Would not return.”
“Decent camp site, beautiful campground. Plenty of space from other sites, put houses and showers close by, good place to try camping if you never been.”
