Lots of birds singing. Barred owl, merlin, night hawk, plus lots of songbirds. Luna moth! fireflies!!! Magical!
Also, lots of mosquitos, but that's what you get near a lake. Bug spray was vital. The provided tiki torches were much appreciated”

“This is a very nice and well-maintained place in a lovely spot right close to the Great Pond. The tent was spacious and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a cozy sitting area. We were provided with all we needed, including the necessary equipment for personal hygiene, which was great. Due to the lack of almost any lights nearby, moreover, the place makes a spectacular stargazing spot.”
