“my husband and I went for our long weekend and we rented two nights! however we wished we could stay one more night because the facilities were very good! the camp provided shower bags so we were available to get clean, also we can charged our phones even tho we wanted to get disconnected it was very useful for gps directions.

“It was a perfect getaway place for us. We were a bit worried not being able to find the tent because we arrived late at night but didn't have a problem finding it thanks to James' clear instructions and the GPS.
We stayed there 1 week after the season ended, so it was cold especially at night, but having a wood stove inside the tent allowed us to stay warm, which is really easy to use.
We would start it up as soon as we arrive back to the camp site, while we were preparing for dinner, making fire outside. That way it'd be ready when we go to bed.
We brought a cooking pot, a cast iron pan and a stirrer which helped us make a perfect dinner after a long day of hiking.
The camp site is 25-30 minute drive from Acadia, 15-20 min from Bay Harbor where we can buy food and supplies. James is very responsive, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended! Don't forget to bring marshmallows, coffee and hiking boots!”
