“We had a wonderful time at John’s place. We wandered the property and saw the cows, horses and pigs and watched the sunset in a beautiful field looking out to rolling hills and mountains. The tentrr site was perfect and private. John had some nice extra touches such as a charcoal grill, roasting sticks, a large jug of water for cooking and washing and even access to a real bathroom with a shower. We had a magical time and we will definitely be back!”

“Such a great experience here, we had a group of 8 and there was more than enough space for everyone to come together but also do their own thing. Tons of beautiful sites and views both on the campsite and all around town.

“Perfect getaway for a young family of four. Easy trip from the city, John was a gracious host, who opened his property to our exploration and gave suggestions for activities beyond the farm. Highly recommended spot to get away from it all but also feel welcomed on a trip for inexperienced campers. My children enjoyed the farm animals and dogs immensely.”
“This is a perfect long weekend getaway for our family of four (9 and 5 year old kids) to get away from the city. The tent is located in a beautiful wood clearing at the top of a big hill which overlooks farms and the valley below. Loved the views, and the easy proximity to activities to both the east and west. John was a great host -- kept us in full communication about where to go, what to see and to check in occasionally to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a perfect getaway for all, and we would definitely come back to this Tentrr site the next time we come upstate.”
“Nice site and John was a gracious host. We had some car trouble and half my party got in very late. We felt terrible, but he was extremely accommodating. He provided some snacks and drinks- and we even left with a box of fresh eggs!”
