“This was a lovely getaway and would definitely go back! The location was peaceful and the tent is cozy with the wood burning stove. The walk to the tent is relaxing with the help of a wagon provided. The air mattress looses air but there is a portable pump to fill in the middle of the night.”
“Wonderfully peaceful site. If you are a bird watcher, this is for you. The meadow where the tent site is located was in full bloom with clover, dandelion, and buttercups. So pretty. The night sky is clear and you can see all the stars...no light pollution marring the sky. You do have to walk about 5-10 minutes to the site, but Mr. Grady provides a wagon to help you lug your stuff. We over packed (as usual) so we had to make several trips...that's on us, not the host. The only drawback is the amount of ticks here. Again, not the host's fault....just the nature of the site next to a meadow...where ticks like to hang out. So be sure to bring bug spray and tick tweezers. Otherwise, a good trip. Wish it was a longer stay for us...our vacations are too short.”
“Beautiful and private! Loved the views and seeing the sheep when we came and went. A bit of a walk from the car but it was easy to find, even in the dark, and the cart provided made the trek easy even with all our stuff.”
“host was very good at communicating! The site is definitely more than 300 yards. there is a cart but if you come as a family for more than one night plan on multiple trips. location is beautiful by the ocean and quiet!”
“We had a wonderful stay at the campsite, which was neatly prepared when we got there. The view looking out of the tent was gorgeous and we slept well on the air mattress. There is a delicious restaurant nearby called the schoolhouse. There’s a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the campsite, and we were grateful that a wagon was provided for our belonging. Make sure to bring bug spray. Thank you again!”
