Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“A lovely location to stay on mid coast! The tent is worn and leaks a bit in places when it rains. But if you love sleeping outdoors without the hassle of bringing all your gear this is a great option.”
“Beautiful private remote Tent site. Bay views from tent platform/deck. There is a stove in the tent and a fire pit. Bring your own wood. Be prepared for a long walk from parking spot to Tent. A wagon is supplied. Good communication with owners.”
“You need to be prepared for packing a lot in: wood water, supplies and travel quite a distance with a small wagon. Be prepared that toilet is a a bag and take composter, you’ll have to fill your own solar shower and grill is a fire pit grill. Tent leaks have been patched up. It’s lovely but buggy as might be expected. If you have a group of 4 fitting safely on the mattresses is challenging.”
“Gorgeous surroundings and although we never met the host, he promptly answered all of our questions and left us a bundle of wood which we were appreciative of! 3 adults and 2 dogs stayed at this tentrr on a warm weekend in May. We brought our own utility wagon (highly recommend!) because it was a bit of a walk from the parking area (we were able to park a compact SUV and a pickup truck in the assigned spaces) It took us 8 minutes to walk from the parking spot to the tentrr with a full wagon, each wearing backpacks, and walking 2 pups. We also stopped halfway at the water spigot- thankfully the host provides a giant water cooler to fill up from this spot (also recommend having a wagon for getting the full water jug back to the camp site). Aside from hearing some talking during the day from visitors at the nearby nature trails (that spot is separated from the site by a body of water) we never actually saw anyone and were completely secluded all weekend. Ticks have been bad everywhere this year (2021) so we encountered a lot of them at this campsite, but just be vigilant with the tick checks! A fence surrounds the campsite area and meadow so you can't actually get down to the water, but the views from the site are beautiful. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars is because of the long walk. But if you pack light and know that going into it, don't let it deter you. I bet this site would be amazing in the autumn months too!”
“Nearby city, trails, and views are great. Description of location is outdated and misleading: furniture is much older than the photos, the view is more obstructed now, privacy is nonexistent with nearby hiking trails, and the shower is merely a black bag on a 3 foot post.”
