“This place is AMAZING. I am not exaggerating. This place is both manicured and wild at the same time! If your are looking for peace AND comfort than this is it. Our host Garth could not have done more to enhance our experience. He made sure we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the peace and serenity this property has to offer. We spent almost 10 days in this part of New York with our 3 boys and they all agree that our 3 days on Garth's property was the best part of the trip.
This property has SO many extras that provide extra fun and comfort. Garth has thought of everything.
If you have kids... they will not be bored. There is so much to do.
Frisbee Golf, Horseshoes, Cornhole, Wiffle ball, and other fun yard games.
The nature walk Garth has set up is awesome. On our walks we saw: White tail deer, Rabbits, Frogs, Toads, Salamanders, Garter snake, Crawfish, Lightning Bugs, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Chickens, Bats, Hawks and numerous colorful Birds. What an experience! We will be back FOR SURE.
Bottom line: The kids had a blast, my wife was comfortable and she was able to take warm showers and even curl her hair thanks to the solar power! This trip turned my wife into an enthusiastic "Glamper"! Wow... Bravo!”
“Wonderful as usual. This is our third year coming to this site. Garth has done a excellent job keeping the site functional and awesome. Every year there is something new to the campsite. Paying for the extra bedding was well worth it. The bedding was comfy and made setting up super easy. We will be back again. Thank you Garth and Georgia.”
“Just recently visited Valley View Serenity for the second time. Garth is very hospitable and maintains the large property very nicely. Highly recommended!”
“The site was absolutely gorgeous & Garth is an awesome host. There are great trails on the site to explore. The bathroom is a short walk from the tent and has running water to wash your hands. We had a perfect valley view of fall foliage. The weather was cold at night but the stove definitely keeps the tent warm. Plus Garth put in a few fans to circulate the warm air. He also provides a few portable lanterns.
Had a great experience - would recommend and do again.”
“We loved our first Tentrr experience. The tent was in a gorgeous location and a good base to explore a lot of hiking and activities in the area. The campsite had everything your needed (or additional things you could opt into) to make it comfortable for whatever type of trip you are looking for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially with the flannel sheets that were put on it for the cooler months. We loved the space and that we could bring our dog as well! Garth was incredibly kind and showed us around and gave us some suggestions for the area as well.
One note - there were a lot of ticks at the site, which is obviously expected in the great outdoors and at this time of year with the falling leaves. I would just recommend that pet owners have a new tick collar on any animals. Even though our dog is on tick medicine, we still had to buy a collar the first day to help repel more of them.
Fantastic stay overall! Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to see the fall colors.”
“Absolutely lovely campsite with nicely maintained trails all over the property. The view is amazing, and just about every amenity you can think of can be added on. This was our first fall (cool weather) Tentrr trip, and the memory foam mattresses and flannel sheets were so much better than the standard air mattress for keeping warm while sleeping! The site is very clean and the host was really friendly and helpful in every way. Would definitely recommend!!”
“This was our first experience with Tentrr, and we’re glad to have spent it here. The property was beautiful and very open, which was perfect for stargazing at night. We also enjoyed the walking trails. Garth was very friendly and helpful, and we would love to come back again.”
