“We had an amazing time at Holmestead Woods! We went with 9 adults and 3 kids and we had enough space for everyone with the family of 5 setting up their tent in the clearing right before the 2nd gate entrance to the site. Jason the Camp keeper was great, answered all my questions a couple weeks before we were set to go, during the trip and as we were leaving as well. Good cell service if you need to stay connected or want to stream Spotify during your stay. Quiet (except for an occasional train whistle) and secluded but close to civilization if you forgot something and need it at the grocery store. Good hiking/swimming lake at White Pond about a 15-minute drive from the site. Plenty of firewood and all the Tentrr amenities you’d expect. The only drawbacks was the distance from our cars to the site, but a garden cart was provided to haul the stuff to the site and the roots that were on the path to the site made some things fall off the garden cart but it was expected due to the nature of the terrain. Definitely recommend a stay here and would come back!”

“Beautiful site. Jason communicated with us throughout everything and greeted us at the front of his house, then let us have our space. Tent was spacious enough with the only insects being harmless stinkbugs. Location is close enough to civilization 10 minutes away that we could have the best of both worlds, making this a great option for people just starting our their camping journey! We went to nearby orchards and hiking trails then came back to cook on the Woodfire. Highly recommend this site.”
“It was great staying at Holmestead Woods. It was super well stocked and it was an amazing time. Giving 5 stars, but the air mattresses did deflate while we were sleeping. Not sure if that was our fault or the mattress so just adding a note here.”
“Had a great stay at Holmestead Woods earlier this month (Aug 2019). Camp site was really nicely maintained and well supplied. Site was private but not far from the real world. Jason was very responsive both pre-trip and during with any needs or concerns we had. Brought 3,5, 8 and 10 year old boys who loved it along with a dog. It rained heavily but tents kept us dry. Really easy to get to. Highly recommend. Easy and enjoyable trip.”
