“This is the perfect getaway close to Lake Superior and Waterfalls yet close enough to town if you need anything or don't want to cook. We brought everything for camping and watched the weather the week before heading there so we were prepared. It ended up raining/freezing rain to snow. So we brought a power inverter and a TV, games, food and just hunkered down to enjoy the sounds on the tent. There is a beach on Superior just up the road you can go to and the hosts were very helpful in the days before and gave us our privacy during our stay. We'd love to stay here again!
Things to note that aren't pictured for the over thinkers- There is a lantern and battery operated string lights in the tent. They have a really nice outdoor station with a picnic table, fire supplies, 5 gallons of water amongst other helpful things. The toilet is portable, you can move it where you like in the winter, there looks to be a dedicated spot for the summer and they also have a pop up tent to go around it as well. The bed is comfortable and the wood stove makes the ambiance even better. You will not regret this stay!”
“Stacy is an incredible host! She was there to greet us and show us around and even shared some of her wisdom with us! The location is amazing and I would highly recommend renting the canoe for the river.”
“Very nice glamping spot. The tent is on the owners property but on a secluded spot in the woods. Note that it has a camp shower only. The mattress was a memory foam mattress and the cots were padded.”
“What a PHENOMINAL place to stay! The site is near a gorgeous beach, river to paddle on, and State Park for hiking. The site itself is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful gardens, trails, and animal friends! Stacy and her family are incredibly accommodating and make sure you have everything you need. Highly, highly recommend staying here for a great camp +++ experience!”
“This tent was a little piece of heaven so close to Lake Superior! If you go, you have to rent a canoe and spend time canoeing on the river. We had so much fun exploring the river, combing the beach, and exploring the nearby state park. Stacy was great at providing these pro tips in advance so we knew what to do! The tent site itself was set up very well, very clean, and provided for a great “glamping” experience. Good option for those without tenting supplies, but expect the same experience as a regular camping trip!”
“Absolutely amazing location and host. Stacy and her family were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. 10 out of a 10! We will be back.”
