“This campsite is absolutely AMAZING! Located atop a hill on an 50 acre eco-ranch, it is totally private and serene. Nights are quiet and peaceful, with sounds of nearby cattle and farm animals. The hosts are extremely warm, friendly and passionate about their land. We were given a tour of the ranch and loved meeting all of the animals - sheep, goats, highland cows, alpacas, chickens, horses and 4 amazing guard dogs. The sunrise and sunsets were amazing and at nights you can star gaze without light pollution.

“This place is beautiful - from the gorgeous views, the beautiful and comfy tent, the gorgeous ourdoors shower, to the sounds of the animals around us (cows, dogs, roosters, owls, birds etc.)...just amazing. The hosts were wonderful, and they very super passionate about their land, their animals, and the environment. They have lots of beautiful animals, that they so graciously let us meet. I can’t even pin point what was the highlight of my weekend, as it was a weekend full of amazing moments.”
“This glamping spot is one of the most amazing and unique places we have ever stayed. It sits atop a hill, bordering an open space preserve. Everything you could possibly need is up there (except for food), making it so you don’t have to come and go. The only interaction we had was with the friendly “guard dogs” and the very distant groaning cows. The solitude was refreshing and much needed in these COVID times.
Anwyn and Dan are among the best hosts we have had. They greeted our slightly late arrival with kindness and empathy. After the hike up the hill (Dan drove our luggage up), they had champagne waiting for us. Also, before we left we got a tour of the ranch and got to meet all of the adorable animals. It was apparent how much love and care Anwyn and Dan put into this land. It’s so nice to know that this place exists, and we will not hesitate to return!”
“We had a beautiful experience at Tulare Ranch: our hosts were warm, thoughtful and generous with their time! They did all they could to make our weekend special- from giving our children an opportunity to meet all of their beautiful animals, to providing them a hands-on opportunity to care for their horses, ride them and paint them, to surprising them with s’mores and fun glow-in-the dark sticks! Their dog friends also brought the children immense Joy! It is a peaceful retreat that offers something for every age group. And we appreciate the care Anwyn, Dan and their children take in caring for the land, the ranch animals and the beautiful wildlife all around.
