“If you are looking for the quintessential glamping experience look no further. My fiancé and I came out here to relax and unplug from an extremely hectic and stressful year and we couldn't of had a better experience!
From the moment we arrived and greeted by Dan and Anwyn, accompanied by the most friendly ranch dogs you'll meet. Everything was geared towards a great and relaxing experience. After loading up their extremely helpful ATV with our belongings, Anwyn headed to the camp site while Fern, Luna, and Rocky walked with us on the initial hike to the campsite, along with Dan whom explained to us all the great and interesting things they have done with the land, and plan to do on going forward. Dan was nice enough to find more than a few things to point out as we hiked about the land so we had moments to pause and take a breather from the steep hike that leads to the glorious view and campsite (price of admission and well worth it)
After we arrived Anwyn had already unpacked everything from the ATV and began explaining along with Dan the grille area and how the the various facilities around our Tent function. After showing us the various entertainment which ranged from Darts and a bow and arrow with a target, ton a outdoor chess board and various board games within the tent Anwyn and Dan excused themselves to let us settle in. Prior to driving back down the hill though, they informed us of the various ranch tours they provide every day and what it entails and let us know they were only a few minutes ATV drive away from anything we might need.
Sure enough the last evening there we had our solar USB chargers stopped working and we texted them, within 5 minutes we had a full USB charger pack at our disposal. They are exactly what they advertised, if we could give them 12 stars rating we would, definitely would recommend and definitely will return in the future!

This was the best weekend getaway I've ever had. The pictures on this listing are IDENTICAL to the actual site and views. It was a short 1.5 hour drive from San Fracisco, and was just the thing we needed to get out of the city. My boyfriend and I loved cooking, playing with the dogs, relaxing on the swing, and doing archery on the campground. You'll need to hike up to the site, but it's well worth the views, especially at sunset. The only thing you need to pack are your clothes and food, everything else is provided.
The site is totally private and nights are very quiet, so if you're used to the ambient noise of cities, this will be a refreshing break.
We loved meeting all of the animals on the ranch, especially the chicken we got to hold :) We packed the weekend with hikes, pumpkin patch visits, local restaurants and more, but we agreed our favorite activity was just spending time on the campground.
The hosts were wonderful and gave us the perfect balance of attention and space. They showed us around the ranch, which made us feel more comfortable in the new space. We are so excited to come back to this campground in the spring and make it a tradition!”
“This was an amazing place. We stayed at the top of the hill overseeing a Ranch with Scottish cows, alpacas, goats, and horses. Anwyn and Dan along with 3 super cute dogs welcomed us when we got there. They will help get you luggage up the hill and from there, just enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Ranch and the rolling hills. The sunset was amazing and you can see the stars clearly at night. I went for my 1 year anniversary with my girlfriend and we loved it. The tent was very well decorated and all the amenities of glamping were provided: Outhouse, shower, ice chest, and grill. I had a wonderful time and encourage anyone who would like to get away from day to day life to go visit. Anwyn and Dan were incredibly nice and even gave a Ranch Tour which was great. “Wow! I came out by myself to find a space where I could decompress and ground myself back into nature during this pandemic. I was blown away by how much this site had to offer. The hosts are super creative! Anwyn and Dan made this space captivating with their thoughtful touches, comfortable bed, and books or games to keep you busy. The campsite is spacious; you'll have the choice of relaxing in a swing, laying in a hammock, at the picnic table, and in front of your tent. They really put a lot of effort into making your stay enjoyable.
While on their ranch and disconnected from the world, I still had everything I needed, as described in the host's description. I was greeted by Dan upon arrival; he assisted me with my luggage and showed me around to feel welcome. I meet Anwyn later; she introduced me to their ranch animals and gave me a glimpse of their vision for the ranch. Eventually, I was greeted by their pack of friendly dogs. They stuck around the campsite to hang around with me and patroled the entire ranch. Made me feel safe, and I enjoyed giving them dog treats. Luna will roll over to receive a doggy treat and a belly rub!
Their site is rustic and gives you the privacy you won't get at a typical campsite. This is camping just with the convenience of having the tent already set up and an actual bed with amenities. I indulged in the best shower outdoors after a long day of hiking. Relaxed while eating dinner during magical sunsets, and it was perfect for star gazing at night. It was great to feel the energy that has been harvested here. Sleeping with zero electricity and screen windows, it felt so peaceful to ground myself again to nature. This place is so detailed and decorated; It is so perfectly set up to give you an off-grid experience mixed with the comforts of home.
Blown away with the day & night views where ever I chose to appreciate them. Anwyn and Dan are incredibly kind and communicative! They made sure someone was always available should I need anything, which was reassuring. Whether you're looking for a solo retreat, romantic getaway, or friendship celebration... The hosts, the site's peacefulness, and nature's presence will allow you to connect with everything around you. Not to mention, this experience provided the reset I was so desperately seeking. Can't wait to visit during a different season and experience the campsite at another time!”
“My best friend and I spent my 19th birthday at Tule Ranch and our expectations were blown out of the water. The hosts Anwyn and Dan are so pleasant and friendly, they always were available when we needed extra supplies, which wasn’t often because of how well prepared the campsite was when we arrived! The interior of the tent is extremely nice and has a romantic, rustic feel to it. There were plenty of activities within the actual site to do, including books, an archery set, a chess board, and board games! The lighting in the tent isn’t too harsh, and they even have a pretty chandelier with lights woven into it that change colors with a remote! We were shocked at how comfortable the bed was, and when I got home I almost missed the comfort of the bed at this campsite.
It was also so encouraging to see that the hosts care deeply about the environment, and provide all the shower gels, utensils and dish-ware which were ALL compostable. The love and care put into the ranch and all of the land surrounding it is so apparent, and the hosts were more than happy to show us around their home and introduce us to their dogs, cat, geese, chickens, horses, goats, cows and alpacas that call this ranch their home! They were all very friendly and very interesting to learn about, especially the dogs who would join us at the campsite in the afternoons and laze around with us and play, which was a huge bonus to the trip.
The bathroom amenities were so easy to use and very clean despite the wilderness feel to the site, and a map was included of popular hiking places around the ranch that we could visit when I wanted to explore past the campsite. There wasn’t a single thing that Anwyn and Dan overlooked when preparing this site, and the extra little luxuries that they thought to include really made this trip go beyond our expectations.
Overall, this little hidden paradise in Morgan Hill was so warm and welcoming, and was definitely the best place I could have thought of to spend my 19th birthday, ESPECIALLY with pandemic, but also without. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can!”
“We were fortunate to be the inaugural guests at Anwyn & Dan's little slice of heaven. If you are seeking peace & solitude in a 5-star camping experience, this is it. You will be wowed from the moment you park your car and your belongings are shuttled to the campsite in an ATV to the moment you say goodbye to the friendliest pack of guard dogs you might ever meet.
There is a short hike to the campsite (price of admission!) that meanders through newly planted oilve trees and the surrounding property. Releaved of our bags, we had no trouble making the trek in 107 degree weather. The campsite is exactly as pictured; spotless with lush bedding, a fully functioning outhouse, shower and running water for the sink. Abundant seating, an ice chest with cold beverages, a grill, and plenty of games and books... Anwyn & Dan have thought of everything and genuinely care about their guests comfort. When we noticed the new grill didn't have a full propane tank, a quick text message resulted in Dan flying up the hill 5 minutes later with a propane tank.
The views and solitude of the campsite are fantastic. You are literally on top of your own hill, directly adjacent to protected wilderness areas as far as the eye can see.
