Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“The location was quiet and beautiful! Such an amazing view right from the tent. The tent was very nice and clean inside. However we were told there was a shower and heating source there and neither were set up to work. There was no propane to hook up to the heater. The host’s neighbor brought propane and was very helpful. Also the listing said there was wood available to chop for campfires, but be warned that you’d have to bring a chainsaw if you want to do that.”
Hey there Karissa, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. Since your review, we've gotten in touch with the host at this particular site and addressed some of your concerns. He is aware of them and moving forward with future bookings, will be more mindful of the items you mentioned.
Again, we apologize for the situation that occurred, but hope to see you out camping with us again soon!
Cheers!
The Tentrr Team
“***EDIT** We have been informed that Tentrr has contacted the host and reminded them of what they are required to provide. We were the first guests and the site may now have more supplies and preparation for guests than was available for our stay.
While the views from the site are beautiful, our visit was less enjoyable than our other Tentrr experiences for a few reasons. First, despite paying a premium fee, there was next to nothing provided for us at the site-- no water, no toilet paper, no trash bags, no firewood, and neither a functional stove/heater or a solar water shower (both were brand new and either in their box or not prepped/hung for use). We also were lucky that we brought our own dome tent for our third camper since there wasn't one provided either (which usually is under the bed at other Tentrr sites). We did enjoy the views and the proximity to Stowe was nice, but you could also hear the highway and nearby gravel road had lots of truck traffic. There also was a concert close by during one night of our stay which was very loud at the site.”
