We spent our first Tentrr experience at The Algonquian Gitigaan and it couldn't have been any more enjoyable! This place was fantastic. Well kept and wonderful hosts! A very serene location with fascinating history and plenty to do. Truly appreciate Gena and Dennis welcoming us to stay at their location. We will absolutely look to come back in the future! Do not miss this place!

This was an awesome site. Our hosts really went the extra mile: there were hammocks set up, plenty of firewood, and even smores and fresh cut flowers in the tent. The property is serene and beautiful, with fields for stargazing and a trail to a creek. We will be back.

Had a great weekend! The site is beautiful, a nice open space, and for our cold November weekend we really appreciated all sun and open sky. The site is well stocked, especially loved the tea light candles which were a great help as well as the fire starters they provided which very useful for the woodstove inside the tent, and the solar powered lights around the camp which were a really great touch. They also had set up several large water jugs for us when we arrived which was an unexpected and nice surprise! The tent is great, top bunk is a bit tight for two people but still works. Dennis was also were very communicative before during and after our stay, answering any questions we had. The tenterr information that was provided (directions, pack list, etc) were also quite useful. Overall a great weekend and we are looking forward to coming back!

We had a great time staying at Dennis and Gena's farm! There was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our weekend with a big group. We had some rain the first night and both tents held up well and kept us dry. There is a big hay field just behind the site with great views of the surrounding mountains and even better views of the stars. Our second night was perfectly clear and we were able to see a ton of shooting stars. We saw many deer during our stay, and we even caught a few fish in the creek that runs through the property. We were able to let our dog run free with no concern of running into any neighboring people or animals. During our second night we ran short of wood because the rain had soaked the pile we had, but Dennis and Gena were kind enough to bring us out some dry stuff and even stayed to have a drink with us. Highly recommend this site!

We had an amazing weekend at Dennis and Gena's campsite! The site was very secluded, down an easy to follow dirt and gravel path, complete with hand-crafted signs to guide the way. The site itself was amazing! Dennis and Gena went above and beyond when furnishing the tent and camp. We loved the solar LED lanterns around the tent, outdoor shower, picnic area, and refuse - those came in handy the first night as we oriented ourselves to the campsite. We had a wonderful view of the mountains from the camp site - and a short hike to the top of a nearby hill provided an even better view. Dennis and Gena were more than happy to answer any questions we had, and also share with us a little bit of history about the land itself. This was probably the best weekend we've had this summer. We are looking forward to making a tradition out of visiting here in the future!
