“I cannot begin to express how awesome this location was!! Overlooking a big lake with plenty of room to roam around as well as a BBQ set and fireplace to enjoy, Pinelands was truly a big city getaway. The campkeeper Craig was incredible and more than hospitable, enhancing the camp site in his own way to really accommodate us. He was quick in his messages, met us right as we got to the site to greet us, and helped troubleshoot with the send of a text. He took us on a tour of the land which was interesting, and gave us a history of it. We could not have been more thrilled with our location choice and host. We will definitely return back whenever we want to get out and camp! Seriously, you won't be disappointed!”
“My children and I had an amazing experience at this cranberry bog not far from our home. It was the perfect 4th of July quick get away adventure for us. The pictures do not do the setting justice. The sunset makes the whole landscape glow, as the herons soar and bullfrogs sing. The host was very friendly and the site was fastidious. We will be coming to visit again.”
“Craig was an amazing host...very friendly and helpful! The site was beautiful and we brought our kayaks to travel the reservoir. We spent a little time getting a few nibbles on our fishing rods and then had a relaxing fire in the firepit. We then fell asleep listening to the sound of tree frogs. In the morning we took a walk and got to witness deer as they ate peacefully. I posted photos on my Facebook page, and everyone wants to know where this breathtaking place was. I’m guessing Craig and this site will have numeorous inquiries shortly. Amazing overnight trip for us, and will definitely be back!”
“First of all, Craig was amazing. Booking became a bit of a hassle since some requirements were put in place as to how to book with a different set of people per night and he made sure to make it happen for us, which was great to work with someone who was very communicative and prompt in getting back to us and allowing us to book the way we did, so thank you.
He then greeted us upon arrival and took us to the camp site, making sure we had a walk through of the campsite and how everything works and where everything was. He also then gave us a tour of his cranberry farm and where we could walk on the property and where was off limits. He also gave us maps to the local state park which we went to. We had brought a kayak to head out on the reservoir on and he had started to make an embankment for being able to get out on the water easily but it still was not difficult to get out and in.
It was peaceful, serene, and bullfrogs and tree frogs sang us to sleep every night. We even went to a local blueberry farm Craig told us about after our trip was complete. Overall our crew will definitely be back to do some #cranberrycamping again. Thank you!”
