“This was our second time camping here this year - the first was in August. This time we brought our teen and tween for an overnight during Indigenous People’s Day weekend. Craig remains a thoughtful host, greeting us upon arrival, providing us with $10 worth of firewood so we didn’t have to leave to get some!, and offering us another tent and flashlights for our children. We brought two tents and there was enough room onsite to pitch them and see them from the main tent. Our family of four enjoyed the trails, sunbathing at the pond (the water is chilly in October so we dipped in and out!), LARPING, grilling, card games, s’mores, and waking up to a glowing full moon and the mist over the reservoir around 6 am (and going back to sleep right after seeing that beautiful sight!!) Thanks, Craig, for the restful overnight camping trip close to home!”
“Super fun!! The sunrise, sunset, lake, wildlife and most important the PRIVACY! My dogs loved it too, they didn’t even want to go home :) Craig is such a great host, very responsive and friendly. Will definitely book again.”
“We had an amazing weekend at the cranberry farm, and will be going back again! Craig is a wonderful host, with easy communication and the best combination of available and friendly, but left us with our own space. He took us a great tour of the cranberry farm, and told us about the history, which was great. The site itself is beautifully situated on a picturesque lake, with trails to walk and a swimming pond for dips on hot days (Craig even has floats for you to use!). We spent hours just watching the clouds, the sunsets, the dragonflies, the hummingbirds (with a feeder right in camp!), and relaxing. Good cooking and eating space, with a grill, firepit, picnic table and chairs, even enough room for when our kids came to visit from their sleepaway camp, and so did our sister and her sons from WI! For us this was relative glamping - just to not have to set up a tent and sleep on the ground alone, and all the space - but know that it is remote, with no electricity or running water / flush toilets (I recommend moving the privy to a pretty spot overlooking the pond :-) ). Overall a great place, host, and experience!”
“A gorgeous location, we loved looking at the stars, swimming in the pond, and walking around the property. It's still camping, but it's definitely nice to not have to bring the gear, and this place has everything you need. Craig was really easy to communicate with and very gracious, meeting us when we arrived and showing us around.”
