Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“As a party of 7, we rented 3 of the tents. We were really excited to go camping based on the photos & description. When we got there, it began raining & there were thunderstorms. We tried staying but realized quickly, we wouldn’t be able to leave if we stayed. The tents wreaked of mildew. Bring all your own bedding because there is none. It’s just a plastic wrapped thin mattress. For what we paid, then not getting to stay — we are disappointed. I’ve reached out about a refund but haven’t heard anything back from the team to my knowledge.
I say if you’re into primitive camping, just bring your own tent.
The location of the park is beautiful. But severe thunderstorms & the tiny road with a body of water on one side & no where to go on the other is dangerous for anyone with kids who may need a quick escape. It gets muddy & I wouldn’t recommend trying to drive if the weather is bad. Just plan accordingly.
Customer service was extremely hard to get a hold of as well. We played phone tag over & over again. Even the day of when we were trying to check-in like the instructions told us to.”
“I wasn’t impressed with the communication after booking but before our stay. Every time I needed something, I talked with a different person. And even though I was clear that I wanted a water site, they put us up in the woods - which it was still a water view site but not what we wanted. However, do to an error on their part, we were moved and the site was right on the water. It was the perfect place for us!
Tanya (the on-site hostess) was amazing! She went above & beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
The Tentrr concept is a great idea but I do feel they need to tweak a few things. And there should be 1 person assigned to a reservation for communication purposes - that sees said reservation through, from the booking til the end of stay.”
