“We had a great time at Catfish Pond! The campsite is peaceful, there’s lots to do in the area, and Lyn was super helpful throughout our time there—a great host. We would stay again!”
“My wife and I spent three nights here and had a great time. We had some initial issues finding the place with the GPS, but we called Lyn and she very graciously helped guide us, met us at the road to lead us to the site, and told us not to hesitate to contact her if we needed anything at all. (She also has a great dog named Jack.) The site is beautiful and very peaceful, with quick and easy access to amenities in Pine Bush (grocery stores, restaurants, gas, etc.). There are 3 wineries plus Angry Orchard nearby to check out, and we made the 20-minute drive to Fair Oaks and took in a double feature at the drive-movie theater. PIne Bush is also known as the "UFO Capital of the Northeast," so we went to the UFO/Paranormal museum, which was fun, and had some great breakfasts at the local Cup & Saucer (as in flying saucer) diner. Sam's Point Preserve in Minnewaska State Park is also nearby, so we went and hiked the ice caves, which were amazing. We loved the whole experience, and hope to come back again. Thanks, Lyn!”
“Lovely to return to this special spot! The site now has a stand-alone loo and was recently regravelled, which was less muddy when it rained. Sitting by the pond watching raindrops rippling, plenty of dry firewood, and a cozy “bedroom” tent makes a rainy day a joy! Lynn and crew really take care of this place.”
“This is our second visit to E and L Farms Catfish Pond. We had a magical time with our family of 4 and 2 puppies! Lyn is very responsive and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay! I highly recommend this very family friendly campsite!”
“Lyn provides great service and a great campsite. We have been to Catfish Pond several times and it keeps getting better ! Everything is very clean and the port-a-potty is a great addition to the site. The property is beautiful and great to walk around, or just sit and relax on by the pond. It’s a great location with lots of privacy but also convenience! We took a day trip into New Paltz and highly recommend checking out the bike rentals at the River to Ridge Trail !”
“The pond was great again! Our hosts are so responsive and kind-- they helped me make sure my booking went through, they double checked we were able to find our way to the site (even though we'd been before-- it's tricky in the dark!) and they made sure we were all set the day after we arrived, since we got in a bit later than expected.
This place is just a gem!”
“The pictures definitely don’t do it justice, it was so serene and beautiful. The small touches she added into the space are very well thought out. The tent has two side tables and comes with lanterns, febreze and a fly swatter, there are also two chairs to sit by the fire and two hammocks to use as well. It also has a wood burning stove in there for chilly nights. They recently installed a porta potty, it was extremely clean. It had febreze in there as well, sanitizing wipes and cottonelle wipes. The campsite was very clean, there was plenty of firewood for the campsite and they left a grill grate to cook over. Which is so much better then a grill. If you’d like to cook over the fire I’d suggest going to Hannaford grocery store which was conveniently five minutes away, they have these ready to grill options that have meats and seafoods that are very inexpensive and we so easy to pop over the fire! The host was very sweet and welcoming, definitely plan on coming back with friends in the future!”
