“Beautiful Location. Extremely peaceful and relaxing. Hiking around the area was only 20 minutes away and Woodstock was about 45 minutes away. One of the couples too a swim in the pond and said it was very refreshing. Complimentary fire wood and great amenities. Would definitely recommend and come back again for a visit!”
“Our stay at E and L Farms was amazing! The camp is in a beautiful, secluded setting. My friends and I wanted to do a lot of fishing that weekend, and we were able to do quite a bit right from the pond and caught a decent amount of bass (catch and release). We had some really good meals from the campfire where Lyn provided us with the grill and firewood. Lyn was extremely helpful and welcoming to her great space. Thank you E and L Farms, we’ll be back soon!”
“Great stay. Lyn was so accommodating with less than 24 hours notice of our booking. Beautiful site and well-maintained. We plan to come back, perhaps with friends/family at their other site on the property. A symphony of sounds at night for us city folk! Our kids loved the adventure. Complementary firewood, TP, and trash removal are definite perks of this site!”
“We loved our time at E&L Catfish Pond. Our first tentrr experience and it exceeded our expectations. Lyn, the Camp Keeper was great. She was available but not intrusive. Exactly what we needed. We plan to come back.”
“Lyn was an absolutely fantastic host! She met us at the campsite and showed us around as soon as we arrived! The catfish pond site was fantastic with the private pond! We even caught (and released) a fish from in there! The bullfrogs and occasional owl were so soothing to listen to at night! My boyfriend did end up swimming in the pond and had a great dip, super fun if you bring a river floating tube! The site has everything you need, including ample foreword/starters and carpeting in the tent! Overall fantastic site with a fantastic host!”
“We really enjoyed our time at the Catfish Pond campsite! The location and siting of the camp is ideal, in a shady grove of trees right by the cool pond where we dipped multiple times. The Campkeeper set us up with ample firewood and there are plenty of trees to set up hammocks. Lots of fireflies and frog sounds in the evening, as well as a few bats and the local owl, who we heard calling nightly. We were also visited by woodpeckers and chipmunks, and even saw a Red Tailed Hawk. What a remarkable place! The air mattress needed some air and we struggled a bit to pump it up but the campkeeper responded quickly and even provided a backup mattress (which we didn’t need) and we were able to sleep soundly. All in all it was a great get-away! Great base camp for getting around the state parks. All in all place we would love to come back to.”
“Lyn was incredibly accommodating and her site was fantastic! There are two hammocks provided, firewood, and pond to boot. Definitely looking forward to going back sometime.”
