Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Had a lovely stay at E&L Farms Catfish Pond. The weather was perfect even despite a bit of rain the first night (not that it really matters with the tentrr tent). Lyn met us at the site when we arrived and helped answer any questions and let us know that we could contact her if we needed anything (such as more potable water, fire starter, etc; though we didn't end up needing to). We even swam in the pond that is right on the campsite, which was a godsend. Also the practically unlimited supply of firewood at the campsite is a huge bonus as well. Would definitely consider coming back to this site again in the future.”
“Our experience at Lyn's property was extraordinary. Lyn was the best host even before getting there: she patiently waited for us on the road as it was dark and guided us to the Tentrr, explained everything and gave us a lot of tips about the are. The property is so vast that one is secluded in the woods however the town is a short drive away which was nice to go out for food. Lastly the property is located to some amazing hikes! We will definitely be back to Lyn's place =)”
“Had a great stay-our first Tentrr experience. Very impressed with the whole setup - tent, queen-sized bed, wood-burning stove in the tent, camp toilet. We appreciate the large stack of firewood here and the stove was great - both nights got chilly and we warmed up instantly. The location is right on a catfish pond and has a clearing in the trees to view the stars. This location is also great for exploring local wineries - Robibero was great and the Minnewaska State Park Preserve is gorgeous.”
“Lyn was wonderful and the site was fantastic! We stayed at the catfish pond, and it was amazing. There were tons of deer on the property, and the tent itself was great, even in a thunderstorm! Lyn had extra firewood for us, but it was so hot we didn’t need it. We would love to stay again!”
“This place is ideal for city dwellers like ourselves who enjoy getting away and spending time with mother nature. It's a 1.5-2 hr drive from NYC so you don't really have to drive too far to get your camping fix either. I can't recommend this stay enough if you plan on spending the weekend upstate near the Gunks, Minnewaska State Park, or Mohonk. Lyn's site is around 20-30 minute drive from those locations. She is also a 10 minute drive from Angry Orchard's Brewery. We weren't allowed to take out our dog so we couldn't stay for too long but it was buzzing with visitors and seemed like a fun time. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away so there were no issues getting food or drinks. Her site is perfectly placed in the woods of her property. You have a lot of privacy and hundreds of acres of land to explore! She has a second site located on her property which would be ideal for large group of friends or families who want to stay together. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area!”
“We can not say enough about this location and our stay. First the site was exactly as described in the listing - no surprises. While it was close enough to a road to be convenient, once you were on site it felt like you had completely escaped to your own private getaway in the woods. The host was amazing, friendly and very communicative. Be sure to check out some of the local attractions Angry Orchard, hiking and lake swimming on Minnewaska....and the Ice Caves at the Sam’s Point Preserves is a MUST. We will definitely be back for another stay.”
