Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Our stay was lovely, despite a very hot weather forecast. The clean and clear spring-fed swimming pond was perfect for cooling off. The site is situated nicely in the shade and we were comfortable the whole time. We saw geese, deer, heard owls, and hiked to a waterfall. Dave and his daughter Lily were very responsive and helpful. It was a very relaxing time but a fun adventure too.”
“This is a great private spot with beautiful views, hiking trails, and best of all a spring fed swim hole. Star gazing was incredible too with a big open field and no light pollution. Kids absolutely loved it and want to come back, which pretty much sums it up. Dave was a great host. Will for sure be back.”
“A great get-away. The site is fantastic. Close to the Mount Tom Range if you want to hike the Metacomet Ridge, but also has plenty of trails at the site itself if you want to just stay in nature and avoid driving anywhere during your stay. The campkeeper is incredibly accommodating. Would recommend for everyone!”
“This was our first TENTRR experience and it was great. The site is very private and secluded and the tent, materials, and supplies were fantastic. There was plenty of water with access to refill at the farm, a ton of firewood (and an axe), and lots of hiking trails nearby and in the surrounding areas. David was a great host and responded quickly to our questions and needs. His family was also very kind and helpful. The swimming hole is literally down the road (2 mim walk) and the site overlooks a huge meadow which was awesome for our dog, and also great for watching wildlife and stargazing at night. You car can be parked in the shade within 10ft from the tent which is awesome. We had some rain while we were there and the tent held up just fine and we were able to cook a nice breakfast inside with the wood-burning stove. The tent has a bunk bed set up with two queen-sized air mattresses. The upper bunk was super useful for storage off of the floor, and extra spots to hang lights...etc. We were only two people, but this site would be great for a large group due to its size, and it has several picnic tables available. (Don't forget to pack bug spray!)”
“Great please beautiful quiet peaceful I actually cross country skiing here 20 years ago Tenteer need some added touches It would be nice to have more candles outdoor lighting toilet paper just little accessories would make a big difference especially toilet paper LOL Great time thanks”
“We had a great stay! The location is very private and has a lot to offer. David was very helpful and super easy to contact (as long as you use the phone number he provides; the website message system is atrocious). A few tips about the site itself: There’s a very well maintained port-a-potty next to the site, which is super convenient, so you don’t need to use the “Tentrr loo” if you don’t want to. The main tent has a queen bunk bed (two beds). There’s a little waterfall about a 10 min hike and a small watering hole for swimming about a 2 min walk away that you drive by on your way into the site. Finally, driving in, I’d recommend you have your GPS take you in from the West, passing the farm before you get to the access road. My GPS took me in from the East, which included some passable but not ideal dirt roads. Overall our stay was great! It’s really nice being out there completely alone without having to worry about neighboring campers.”
“What a wonderful getaway at the Maple Corner Farm! The property is picturesque and serene, the space is vast and private, with hiking trails right next to the campsite. A wonderful clean watering hole is great for hot days. David and his family were very attentive and I was so in awe at the history their farm has - 8 generations! We will certainly return again, thank you David!”
