“This was a great experience IF you are looking for it. It is definitely quiet and remote which is exactly the kind of getaway we were looking for. The private lot provides much more then just a secluded tent experience. A fire pit is on the site (I would recommend bringing some folding chairs), a charcoal grill, two bikes, and a nice picnic table to eat at. It was a bit further from downtown Bar harbor than we expected, but not a bad trek at all. Overall, this was a super unique experience and we had a great time!”
“We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were great at communicating what we needed to bring (which was hardly anything, as everything we could have wanted & more was provided). This made coming from out-of-state (flying) very convenient. I only wish we could have stayed more than 1 night here!”
“Great value. Host was very friendly and offered plenty of assistance. Left candy for kids and extra blankets. Little close to a busy road and site is swampy. Outdoor shower was temperamental. Site is very clean and was left with plenty of water, utensils, firewood and propane. Accommodations are comfy. Great option for no frills outdoor experience.”

“Convenient little spot about 40 mins from Acadia national park. The tent held up incredibly well in really heavy rain and wind! Shower head is not great and dribbles instead of showers but does the job.”
