“This campsite was amazing! Very private without feeling too isolated. So thoughtfully put together and maintained, you can feel the love put into the space. Not to mention the views! You can see all the way to the Catskills on a clear day, and the SW view gives incredible sunsets too! I cannot wait to come back to this piece of paradise.”

Lovely hike to the top of Round Mountain. Definitely need 4WD to reach the campsite by car, especially after rain.”
“This is a fantastic site. Lori and Larry keep it beautiful, and the view is astounding. We arrived after a rain, so the path to the site was rough. However our RAV4 handled it fine. The flora and fauna here is remarkable. We saw hawks and hummingbirds, butterflies and lightning bugs. We were also paid a visit by a laid-back, leaf-munching porcupine! The bed was comfortable, and the site was well stocked with supplies. We can't wait to return!”
“Beautiful spot!! Definitely requires a vehicle with 4wd and a high clearance to get up the path (a typical crossover or small SUV probably won’t cut it after all the rain and road erosion this past month), but honestly we felt like that was part of the charm. We were able to access the site with ease in my pickup truck. The views were amazing, the camp keepers were very accommodating, and the outhouse was clean/well stocked. We were surprised to find a variety of handy items in the cabinet by the picnic table as well (some utensils, lighter fluid, knives/scissors, etc.) My friends had opted to use the extra dome tent they offered, and when we arrived we found they had set it up for us! The wood stove inside the canvas tent came in handy when the temperature dropped down to 45 degrees one night. There’s also a sink behind the canvas tent, with a sponge and dish soap ready for us to use. We witnessed a porcupine in the bushes, many bats flying around, and heard the coyotes howling at night. This is a great spot for nature lovers. Everyone had a great time, my dog included. We would absolutely book here again and highly recommend it for anyone who wants a beautiful, peaceful, quiet outdoor experience for way less work/effort than typical camping.”

“Lori and Larry were great hosts! We came on a super wet and rainy weekend, but had a fantastic stay despite the weather. Lori and Larry made sure we had dry wood every day for the wood stove and fire pit and even gave us s’mores makings. They were super responsive and helpful. The site itself is fantastic, perched on the mountain. On a clear day the view must be even more beautiful. Will definitely come back!”
