“Amazing campsite with a gorgeous view. Lori and Larry were so welcoming and helpful. They let us borrow their jeep to get to the campsite, as my car was too small to make it up there, which was very much appreciated! They even provided us with ice and s’mores! We can’t wait to come back again.”

“We loved every moment of our weekend trip to Round Mountain Camp. The campsite was beautifully outfitted including high quality bedding, lots of water for our use and our hosts even brought ice up to us the second day to keep our water cool! The view was magnificent and we could walk right out of our campsite to a challenging hike on the very private Taconic Crest Trail. As the other reviews mentioned, it is possible to drive all the way to the campsite in a sturdy vehicle. Our Jeep made it no problem! We will definitely return.”
“Our time in the woods was wonderful!! Our hosts were so accommodating, they made sure we had everything we needed to get started and they were so nice and friendly!! This location is easy to find but for check in, you’ll need an all wheel drive or truck/SUV in order to drive up to the campsite. Views from the campsite are stunning and there is a hike option as well. Highly recommend this location.”
