If you are looking for a private camping location near the Russian River and the Sonoma vineyards this hidden gem is for you. It is on top of a mountain with a breathtaking view of the stars. Bring your telescope. During the hot days, head to the river to cool off under the Redwoods paddling in your canoe/kayak. Or enjoy the various vintages in the local vineyard tasting rooms. Only 4wheel or AWD recommended for this “off-road” spot! Happy travelling!

A bit different than described, we felt, but overall a great experience. Beautiful scenery, quiet and kind owners, fun and unique set up, the kids very much enjoyed the raised structure. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous property with us

This place was awesome to get away from it all. There is still cell service but everything else is car camping. The tent was ultra clean and the beds were super comfy. The sunsets were beautiful. My son had a great time meeting the newborn piglets and all the goats. Damon and friends were super welcoming and helpful. Getting there can be confusing since there isn't really clear markers where the TENTRR site was. But luckily Damon was reachable by cell. We would definitely do this again. Cc

My wife and I decided to do a last minute getaway with our dogs. We haven't been able to take them camping yet this year and this was perfect! It is just far enough out of town to been able to see the beautiful night sky but close enough to make a quick run if you forgot something you needed. Our drive there took us through wine country! Always a beautiful route. The camp was very clean when we arrived and was easy to get to. The road there is dirt but well taken care of. A 2 wheel drive will easily be able to make it as long as it is dry. The tent is very spacious and looks to be a fullsize matress bunk bed! Very cool! The firepit is a 55 gallon barrel sunk into the ground with a lid to cover it after you put out the fire. Dry wood is plentiful in the area but we brought our own just in case. Two picnic tables are setup close by as well. I only wish I had packed a better camera! The night sky and glow from the tent is amazing! Thanks again Damon!

The tent and facilities were exactly as described and Damon was helpful with questions that I had. The site is on the western face of a steep hillside that is recovering from wildfire a few years ago, so it is still quite barren, dusty, and very hot. There is not really any shade to be found during the day, so it's definitely best if you're away from the campsite for the whole day. It was great to see the chickens and the goats.
