“This place is an absolute gem! We were looking for a last minute get away outside of the city life and we were so happy to have found Maurolou Farm!! Susan and her husband were so accommodating and the campsite and views are nothing short of incredible. You wake up to the most beautiful sunset and view of Quicksand pond and we truly did not want to leave. I can definitely see us returning in the future!!”

“We were looking for a getaway to expose our 8 month golden retriever puppy to outdoor activities and work on his recall in wide open spaces. This site was perfect. The views and land were gorgeous, the canoe and kayak provided entertainment and new experiences for him. The tent itself was exactly as advertised. My one wish would be for a bit more room around the fire pit for our chairs. This middle aged butt can only enjoy sitting on a rock for a little while. Lol. We will definitely be booking a return trip. Susan was very helpful and responsive; a great Camp Keeper.”
“We had a wonderful time again this year. The location is amazing. It's quiet and peaceful. Our kids and dog loved the open field where they can run, chase, and play. The site is also within a short drive to the beach or a 10 minute canoe ride. It was our little paradise.
P.S. - Susan, the host, was incredible. She texted us to make sure we were okay during the storm. She offered to get us wood if we needed more. We appreciated her thinking about us.
P.P.S - the tent was definitely well constructed. We had about 24 hours of heavy storm and flood warning. Everything stayed dry. We felt very secure during torrential rain.
