“The campsite is a great weekend getaway and I was so content the second day I sold our concert tickets and we spent the night at the campground .
The spring is fun to swim in and shallow for kids.
The only confusion I had was By the pictures I was thinking it was two canvas tents on platforms and a covered table but it is one canvas w platform and a tent they will set up for you if needed.
Overall a good time, close enough to SPAC and the Casino.”
“Basically in someone’s backyard. But it does feel like a mini escape from the outside world. The view is the lake and the pond neighboring it.. everything was clean and ready to use. Would recommend!!”
“We had a wonderful time at Belle Vue. Kristin is so nice and accommodating. Our family enjoyed kayaking along the river. Kristin recommended this little cove/inlet and it was absolutely beautiful! The sunsets are breathtaking. The fireflies and stars lit up the night. A great reminder of the beauty of the simple things in life!”

“We had such a wonderful stay, we wished we were there longer! The location is beautiful and the views can’t be beat. It’s so quiet and peaceful. There’s many little thoughtful extra details included like games and little things you may have forgotten, including bug repellents. Plus all the water toys, my husband and I had the best time taking the kayaks out on the Hudson. Kristin was so helpful and a great host. The campsite is visible from the road but it’s not a busy road and still feels very private. We will definitely be back in the future!”
“This is an absolutely beautiful place to camp. We were amazed that we were able to enjoy views of the Hudson river from our patio of our tent. The pond which is springfed was so refreshing. There was more than enough firewood and we enjoyed a beautiful campfire the entire time. It was so cool that there were games like scrabble and checkers for us to play. The tent was spacious comfortable and no bugs were able to get in! Definitely bring warm clothes for nighttime as it really does get cold even when the days are warm. Earplugs are also a good idea as the bullfrogs and the sounds of nature can keep you awake. Kristin was an amazing host! I forgot to bring coffee for the morning and Kristen came to the rescue with coffee grounds for my morning coffee around the campfire. The site is quite close to Saratoga Springs which is always a fun place to visit. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to return.”
