Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Everything was very clean and organized. So many extra camp items provided- we also left behind a few things to add to the “cabinet” of extras! My kids were disappointed to leave- loved kayaking on their pond all day everyday. We took full advantage of the unlimited fire wood provided which was great with the temperature drop each night. Hope to use this sight again!”
“The site is beautiful with the river and swim pond. Loved the thoughtful extras like firewood and kids toys for the beach. Bedding and tent were super clean. There were a couple of communication kinks in terms of where to dispose of trash; also note site is close to county road.”
“Such a great site with a beautiful view of the Hudson River! Couldn't ask for more traveling with our black lab. She was in Heaven swimming in the pond even when she was by herself lol. Everything you could possibly need besides food & beverages was there. The fireflies at night were amazing! Can't wait to go again.”
“Just returned from a 2 day trip. We had a great time, myself and 3 teen grandchildren. Kayaking in the river was our favorite part. The place is so beautiful and private. Everything was provided except food (and pillows, which we forgot lol). I would definitely recommend this tentrr site.”
“We loved our stay and cannot wait to be back; we have already booked another trip!
Kristen was great with all her communication and very helpful.
We loved the grounds and went out in the kayaks onto the Hudson several times. It was gorgeous and super relaxing. We also went to the nearby ice cream shop which was such a treat. We look forward to coming again.”
“Beautiful campsite by the river. The campkeeper, Kristin, is welcoming and thoughtful. It was a really hot day and she greeted us with cold beverages and showed us around. She is very prompt with her communication. The site comes with kayaks and we spent most of our time exploring the river and swimming. The camp ground is very well equipped - plenty of firewood, a fire grate, cooking equipment, utensil, trash can, camp loo etc. The nights are extremely pretty with fire flies all around and a sky full of stars. The only thing I would pack is equipment for additional shade, either an umbrella or a canopy of some sort. It can get hot and if you choose to stay at the campsite rather than on the river, you will need the additional shade. The site does come with a big patio umbrella, but if you have more than 3 people in your group it is good to have some more cover from the sun.”
“The Belle Vue Pond and Hudson River Tentrr site was truly a slice of heaven. We had the most relaxing week there. I'm super thankful to the Renauld family for sharing their little haven with us. There was a long list of plans with things to see and do but all of it went out the window once we settled in. The tent was very comfortable and clean. It felt like being at home. I enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the spring fed pond. There was a great blue heron that would hang out at the pond and wasn't afraid of us. The fishing on the hudson river was awesome even after a beaver attempted several times to scare me off by smacking his tail on the water. There was a large group of small birds that would come to the river around 7pm every night. They would fill the sky, do their choreographed dives in the river, and then vanish. The camp keepers were welcoming and helpful in every way. Firewood and water was a short walk away. I would have been perfectly happy just staying at the site for the entire week but there is plenty to enjoy in the area. Saratoga springs is a 20 min drive away and there was plenty to do there. They have lots of restaurants and stores to shop at. The parks were my favorite. Congress park and Saratogo spa state park must be visited. I was able to sample the water from different springs. Booking a mineral bath at the last remaining public bath house (Roosevelt baths and spa) was easy and well worth it. Labor day was the last day for horse racing so I regret not purchasing tickets in advance. We still got a feel for the energy by viewing the horses and fans from outside the racetrack. Fishing at Saratoga lake was okay (no boat so limited access) but the Battenkill River was my fishing haven. It feeds into the Hudson just a couple miles north of the camp site so there are plenty of places to access it. Its well known for the prized trout. The Champlain canal is another place to fish that's only 5-10 min away in Schuylerville. You can rent a bike in town and explore Champlain Canal Lock C-5. Vermont is close by so we drove to lake St Catherine one morning. We spent another day in the Berkshires in Massachusetts which is an 1 hr away. Try Nine Miles East pizza in Schuylerville and The Ice Cream Man's ice cream in Greenwich. Breakfast at little village cafe in Greenwich was the best. The endless rolling hills and farmland were therapy for me. Cant wait to do it again.”
