The Belle Vue Pond and Hudson River Tentrr site was truly a slice of heaven. We had the most relaxing week there. I'm super thankful to the Renauld family for sharing their little haven with us. There was a long list of plans with things to see and do but all of it went out the window once we settled in. I enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the spring fed pond. There was a great blue heron that would hang out at the pond and wasn't afraid of us. The fishing on the hudson river was awesome even after a beaver attempted several times to scare me off by smacking his tail on the water. There was a large group of small birds that would come to the river around 7pm every night. They would fill the sky, do their choreographed dives in the river, and then vanish. The camp keepers were welcoming and helpful in every way. Firewood and water was a short walk away. I would have been perfectly happy just staying at the site for the entire week but there is plenty to enjoy in the area. Saratoga springs is a 20 min drive away and there was plenty to do there. They have lots of restaurants and stores to shop at. The parks were my favorite. Congress park and Saratogo spa state park must be visited. I was able to sample the water from different springs. Booking a mineral bath at the last remaining public bath house (Roosevelt baths and spa) was easy and well worth it. Labor day was the last day for horse racing so I regret not purchasing tickets in advance. We still got a feel for the energy by viewing the horses and fans from outside the racetrack. Fishing at Saratoga lake was okay (no boat so limited access) but the Battenkill River was my fishing haven. It feeds into the Hudson just a couple miles north of the camp site so there are plenty of places to access it. Its well known for the prized trout. The Champlain canal is another place to fish that's only 5-10 min away in Schuylerville. You can rent a bike in town and explore Champlain Canal Lock C-5. Vermont is close by so we drove to lake St Catherine one morning. We spent another day in the Berkshires in Massachusetts which is an 1 hr away. Try Nine Miles East pizza in Schuylerville and The Ice Cream Man's ice cream in Greenwich. Breakfast at little village cafe in Greenwich was the best. The endless rolling hills and farm land were therapy for us. Cant wait to do it again.

Magical campsite right on the Hudson River! Kayaking on the river and in the local cove was amazing and our favorite kayaking experience ever. The hospitality of the owners was much appreciated! Within 10 mins of 2 nice little towns and 15 from big stores if you need anything. Great breakfast at the Greenwich Village Cafe and Mexican at Amigos. Complimentary firewood is very helpful and lots of kayaks if you have a few kids. The little pond on the property was also a pleasure for our 10 year to kayak on. We did'n t get to fish but we saw many large fish jumping out right in front of us on the Hudson. Super easy to get to and close to 87. Gets chilly at night so bring lots of blankets and use the wood-burning heater in the main tent.

We were welcomed by a sweet old lady who said to call her Grandma, and handed us a welcome basket with s’mores supplies, a flyer for local events going in, and dog treats for our pups. The tent is amazing, spacious, the bed very comfortable, and has a view out to the Hudson River and a big pond. There were cooking supplies, a fire pit, firewood, lighters and kindling for a fire, plus kayaks and anything we would need for a river adventure (plus small kayaks that were PERFECT for bringing our dogs out on the river with us!). They checked in to make sure we had everything we could need, and gave us awesome tips for going out on the river. Extra firewood in the barn in case we needed it too. The property is an amazing little slice of heaven, complete with baby cows to visit if you’d like! The hosts were so friendly and kind, checkin was easy and we felt instantly at home. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would, and we will definitely be staying here again in the future! Thank you guys so much, it was the Perfect weekend.

Really cozy tent, well made and a lot of extra supplies thrown in to help with the experience. Nice spots to swim and fish as well. Very close to a nice downtown area.

This was our first Tentrr experience and we had a fantastic stay at Belle Vue Pond and River Haven! The property has great views of the Hudson River and we had a really fun time taking the kayaks on the river in the morning. You are surrounded by nature, it's very peaceful, and it's a quick walk from the campsite down to the water. The location is really convenient to downtown Saratoga and SPAC. Kristin was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our first visit and included many really nice welcome touches. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again soon!

This Tentrr was absolutely beautiful! The location was perfect. The Hudson river is located right outside of your tent and we spent all day swimming, tubing, and kayaking in the river and in the spring fed swimming pond. Kristin and Mark were SUCH great hosts. They provided kayaks for us as well as a welcome basket with some farm fresh fruit and s’mores! The sunsets were beautiful and the star gazing was incredible. We brought our dog and he had even more fun than we did! Saratoga springs is about a 20 minute drive if you wanna go shopping or dine. We specifically went to Greenwich village cafe for breakfast and old Saratoga eatery for lunch and they were both AMAZING. Just a reminder you are in nature and you are near the water so be prepared there are a lot of bugs! If you love the outdoors and want to have a different camping or “glamping” experience I definitely recommend this place!
