“We loved our stay at Camp Beaver. Michelle is masterful at adding small touches that create a beautiful and cozy environment. We hope to visit again!”
“If you’re worried about paying higher prices for a camping experience, Michelle has made it all worth your while. Her set-up is above and beyond your normal tent/mosquitoes/where’s the propane?/I can’t see to cook/darn, we don’t have enough wood experience.
With an enclosed eating area, two kitchen/cooking spaces, a living room area with rain protection in addition to the fabulous fire ring with chairs, outdoor shower with soap, the CLEANEST, CUTEST porta-john I’ve ever been in, strategically placed pump wash sinks, extra tent, extra pillows, and SO MUCH MORE, Camp Beaver is definitely worth your vacation funds. I barely had to open up my camp box—Michelle had thought of everything. Bug spray, water, endless supply of wood, dish towels, pot holders, flowers in a vase at the beautifully-laid table, shovels, charcoal, lighter fluid, grill, over-the-fire other grill, games, lollipops, hammock…..I could go on. The zippers on the main tent didn’t work, but it wasn’t a problem. Tentrr needs to resupply there.
Michelle meets you, is friendly, informative, and then leaves you to enjoy your stay with friends, lounging, swimming, relaxing.
And no bugs….amazing….
Thanks for a great weekend, Michelle.”
“Host was very nice and accommodating despite airbnb and “camp beavers” different check in times. Not suitable for young kids. (Under 4-5? Years) No wood stove available to keep infant warm like description states. Everything was muddy and outhouse was quite a distance from “camp”. If weather was sunny and no rain recently it could be nice? Outdoor shower was empty, tent was damp and had a smell to it. Tent also appeared to be leaking and had a tarp over half of it. Host did start a fire before we unpacked for us and was friendly and supplied firewood. Would suggest bringing rain boots if going during rainy weather. Suggest bringing suv as well. If we didn’t have Jeep Grand Cherokee we would have gotten stuck in the ruts.”
“The host was very nice and even made sure to introduce herself and show us where everything was. Everything we could need from camping she had it. Loved it, perfect location, and definitely will be staying here again!”
