“I am sorry that it took so long to leave a review. This was my 2nd time renting Paradise Falls. The setting is overlooking the falls and stream, but there are other sites with similar views. I can't find another one that has a canopy over the "living area", picnic table and gas grill. It rained for 2 days and if not for the canopy, it would have sucked; but it worked out great. Did I mention that he built a very functional outhouse with a shower. The shower was new and a game changer.”
“Randall and his brother have an amazing, secluded site in the woods here, with amenities like solar-powered running water that we've not seen at any other Tentrr locations. They both were super helpful during our stay, checking in on us after arrival and delivering fresh firewood while we were there. We've stayed here twice now, and will be returning again next year - we can't recommend the site and the hosts highly enough!”
“This site had everything you could ask for,from a gas grill to a propane heated outdoor shower and most importantly a tent that didn't leak in torrential rain.”
“Randy's place is AMAZING! My wife and I stayed here with our little dog over Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed the local Hancock Memorial Day celebration, visited the great little shops, had dinner and drinks at the Hancock House Hotel, and drove to nearby Roscoe for the farmer's market and Do Good Distillery (try the Beaver Kill whisky, one of my favorites). It was always a pleasure to come back to the campsite, though, and we carved out most of the days to just relax there and listen to the peaceful sound of the waterfall. Randy was extremely nice and super responsive. If you're a carnivore, do yourself a favor and pick up some steaks or burgers made from the cattle raised on his family farm down the road. We did some grilling and they were excellent! We couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend our weekend or a nicer person to book with. We definitely hope to make many return trips in the future!”
“Randy was super helpful and accommodating! He provided a nice cot for my 10yr old nephew and stayed in communication when needed! The ride in is slightly bumpy-off road a bit, but if quiet and secluded is what you want then you will surely get it! NO SERVICE! great because we needed to disconnect! This place is beautiful….water fall is located right next to the tent so it was my white noise for nights. We will surely return for another mini getaway!”
“The site was just as described. Very serene and secluded. Water was a bit low but still high enough to relax in my water chair. Plenty of firewood and kindling. The outhouse is so much nicer than my last tentrr experience.
Randy was easy to reach and brought me a beautiful steak. I had to leave a bit early for business purposes but it was worth the trip. Oh and the steak was delicious! I will be back next year.”
