“What a special place! The photos really don't show you just how spacious and lovely it is--how a babbling creek surrounds the campsite, or how there are several manicured trails that lead to mini campsites overlooking the creek and perfectly flat for pitching a tent, or how there are two hammocks and the cutest swing waiting for you. We were also pleased to find some essential supplies on site like a wheelbarrow, a small supply of water that we used to wash dishes, and other thoughtful touches like battery operated candles on the nightstands inside the tent. The site was closer to the road and homes than I expected, but noise wasn't an issue. Prepare to haul stuff down a slight hill, a few stairs, end over a narrow bridge. If you're looking to venture out, Byrne-Milliron forest is super close and great for a moderate level hike and we also really enjoyed the super down to earth staff at Windy Oaks winery about a ten minute drive up the road. Will most definitely return!”
“This Airbnb stay is pretty amazing! It is so peaceful and relaxing there and the proximity to good wineries, breweries, nature trails, and whatever else you might be into is a big plus too
It really is the perfect spot to escape and wind down for a few days!”
“Excellent spot to relax and just take the environment all in. Looking up towards the sky after the fog clears is amazing. The way the light trickles in and illuminates the grounds was breathtaking. The surrounding areas were excellent to explore, and I enjoyed taking trips into downtown Corralitos. Please make sure to stop by the market and get the hot dogs, tri-tip sandwiches, or deli sandwiches. They’re too good to pass up. Overall a great time to spend in a perfect location.”
“For being next to a road, this spot was very serene and private. There were no other people at or near the site. We enjoyed exploring the grounds and it had all the basics we needed...chairs, fire pit, picnic table, tent, bed. We especially enjoyed the hammock. There was even an egret (or maybe a heron?) sitting near the creek in the morning. I would definitely camp here again.”
“Pristine and private camp spot under beautiful redwoods. The grounds and path ways are meticulously kept and a good portion of the camp site itself has a thin layer of sand keeping dust to a minimum. We used the 5 person pop up tent that is available on site in addition to the canvas platform tent and both worked well. Love the sound of the creek at night. You do need to walk into the site about 100 yards so pack accordingly, but the wheelbarrow does help. We really enjoyed our time and would come again.”
