Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“This is hands down one of the nicest camping sites we've been to. The area that is not included in the site is clearly marked. The site is very private and beautiful. It's about 15-20 degrees cooler under the canopy of trees. It's fully equipped and there is a wheel barrel to haul your items from your car across the creek bridge. There is fire ban so bring lots of coals for the bbq and heater inside the tent. We met Mark and his wife, they were very pleasant and offered up ideas on things to do in the area.
The only downside is the toilet situation. It's a bucket style toilet that sits inside the tent. I thought the site would have a port-a-potty so be prepared for that. You can move it and place it outside.”
“This Tentrr site is gorgeous. It only took 1.5 hours to get here from Oakland (and it’s only a 15 min drive from town) but it really feels like a whole nother world. Serious Fern Gully vibes, with the enormous trees, ivy-covered everything, babbling creek. The whole set-up is a dream.
Only downsides are things mentioned in other reviews: (1) the rules (which are reasonable—stay on the paths, clean up after yourself) are expressed in a stressful/punitive way that made me paranoid throughout the stay that I was breaking one without even realizing it, (2) the site is not that far from the road so car noise was audible, and (3) the large area with gazebo and huge fire pit is included in the photos for the Tentrr but is not part of the rental (and there are signs all over that area stating, basically, STAY OFF and you will be charged $100 if you use any part of this area—see downside (1); could get the same point across with a much gentler sign, like “This area is not included in the Tentrr rental; if you use it, we have to clean it, and will have to charge you for that.”
However, as others have said, the beauty and serenity of this spot far outweighed the downsides—such a treat to read in the hammock and relax on the bench down by the creek and just spend the day watching the sun move overhead and see how the light filtered down between the trees...”

“We had never booked with Tentrr before and we were so pleased with everything! This specific site is tucked away in the woods alongside a creek. Mark was great with communication and checking in before we arrived. We brought in all of our own food, drinks, and firewood. We would definitely book this campsite again.”
